Was the Elmeth the first to use such weapons? Kinda scary to think that something can annihilate a fleet from a distance only through a "lala" sound. Discuss funnel weapons here.

The Elmeth technically used bits, not funnels. Qubeley was the first to use proper funnels.

Why is the elmeth a mobile armor when its clearly a corvette
>>15029826
Because it's piloted by a single person.

And the Zeong didn't?
>>15030080
It uses wire guided hands. DESU it's closer to INCOM's more than anythings with the Zeong.
>>15030080
Those were still attached by wire to the Zeong, like the Braw Bro.
>>15030080
Zeong used wired weapons.

Sure the hands had wires, but in the movie it also had small funnels.

The movie is fictional. What matters is what it used in real life.

>the movie

I did that mistake, because I wanted to get into gundam fast.
I thought the original series would be shit. And well it wasn't as good, I shoul've probably watched the series. Zeta and ZZ are 10/10 though.
>>15030129
You can still go back and watch it later if you haven't already.
DESU Never seen the movies, or any of the other Recap movies, I've always gone back to the series even for rewatches IDK why.
>>15030097
>in the movie it also had small funnels.
No. No, it didn't.
The movies are pretty interesting for the changes that are made. Mostly they make sense -- like, when White Base went out to space again they ditched the Guntank and got a second Guncannon, and they replaced the G-Armor with the much more credible Core Booster.
>>15030097
What did they look like?
>>15030097
What? You mean the things fired from the feet that pierced Sleggar's core fighter? Those are missiles, not any kind of remote weapon. They take a few seconds after impact to explode, but they're pretty clearly missiles and listed as such in the manuals and stuff too. They're in the TV show too. I think they're even referred to as missiles at one point even.
>>15030097
The Zeong has never had bits or funnels, not even in the movie. I'm starting to doubt whether you actually watched it.
>>15030160
That anon is talking about the Zeong, not the Big Zam.

Elmeth was terrifying.
