Mega Winger's less than stellar. I'm not too fond of how it doesn't have anywhere to store its bowgun in vehicle mode, especially since Galaxy Mega does such a perfect job of storing all of its extra weapon parts in vehicle mode. I also wish the whole thing could attach to Mega Voyager in some way, even if it was just a platform-shoes-chestplate-and-jetpack partsformer.

Clusterfuck combinations can be awesome in the "we have transcended logic" sense.

G12 gets across the idea of being lots of guys combined together, while still keeping a decently humanoid shape.

Samurai Haoh is inferior for having to resort to a throne with whole unused mecha dangling off its base. Ultimate DaiBouken (a 10-mecha combiner) is inferior for the opposite reason - the combination is too sleek, to the point where it doesn't look that different to non-ultimate combinations.

Part of me wants to say Victory Gladion, both for the inherent silliness of the combination and the fact that Gladion's transformation sequence is silly as shit (he literally has to grab his head and yank it into position, 90 degrees away from where it starts at !).

Another part wants to say Anime Linebarrel because GOD FUCKING DAMN THAT REDESIGN WAS DUMB AS FUCK.

But I think the real winner is this particular bastion of design, which not only looks like shit, but also is significantly shittier than its predecessor, is barely an upgrade in some ways that the show goes out of its way to try and hide, and of course the fact that like 90% of Fuzors it inherently sticks together a Zoid that did not need another Zoid sticking on it with a Zoid that usually looks like fucking shit on its own.

Because the AT-AT was specifically designed to complement the Empire's terror doctrine. Strike fear into the populace with powerful weapons to keep them from revolting. Besides that, it's best suited to assaulting entrenched positions and bases, where it doesn't have to turn, and can simply amble its way forward, picking off defensive emplacements, drawing and absorbing fire with it's heavy armor, serving as a shield for other units, and carrying additional troops to be dropped as it moves forward. The IBO mecha "twig" waist is actually pretty sturdy. It is essentially a solid spine with hydraulic support for the upper torso. Not much different to a number of mecha when you pull the armor off.

Is is kind of stupid to leave it exposed though? God yes... Except for the odd fact that the frames of mobile suits in IBO seem to be made of better materials than the armor itself.
