In my opinion, the way they play was very interesting and tactical. As an opponent, perhaps I would have hated it, but as a viewer I think they were really good.

You can hear Meijin complaints in any game, like Street fighter. There is always someone who gets angry if you do not rush in full hot blooded more because you prefer to play tactical or defensive and punish the errors of your opponent.

I never got why Sei and Reiji got mad at Nils for wanting to know how the Gunpla battles worked. If it wasn't for inquisitive minds like that, there would never been a gunpla battle setup in the first place. Sei is too stupid to appreciate the math and engineering that went into making the very models that he is so fond of.

It wasn't just for that, it was also because it seemed that Nils didn't care at all for the sport or Gundam in general, and just did it because he found a way to game the system. For Sei, Nils wasn't having fun, his opponents weren't having fun, and he wanted to show him the true power of having fun.
