The only kit I painted so far is this MG Gouf Custom. Now I look at it and yes it's dusty and awful looking, and I'm always trying to improve. I've had a lot of stuff going on, so finding the time to prime, paint, weather, and topcoat has been very difficult. So far I've primed a fraction of my HGUC Gelgoog, which was a month ago. I do plan on finishing that, as I do plan to eventually fully paint my other kits as well.

Not too important, since I can't pose for shit and my models tend to be placed in silly poses as a result. A lack of articulation just ends up making me more creative to get the silly pose. Fiddling around with double-jointed kits is really satisfying, though.

I don't even know if I'm allowed to post this here but since I've spent so much time here seeing everyone's cool gunpla, I'd like to share this.

I've been focusing on upgrading my modelling skills so I started modelling my HG Gouf R35. Done some scale cubes for reference and the shoulder paldron.

WHY ARE SPHERICAL SHAPES SO HARD FUCK. Spent close to 4 hours doing this. Do you guys have any interest in this project ? I'm going all the way with shading, posing and a kick ass final render but It'll take a long time due to work and stuff

I just bought the HG AGE-1 Normal for my 7yo brother.
I'm going to build it with him Christmas day, I'm really looking forward to it.

how is pic related guys?

Hey, so I'm finishing up my first MG and wanted to touch it up a bit, with decals, panel lines and whatnot. I've finished that part, I think (I haven't panel-lined but since it's Blitz idek if you do or how to do that over black), and now I wanted to top coat with a matte finish.

The thing is, the only top coat I could find was "Testors", since Tamiya apparently doesn't distribute where I live. My question is: will Testors do for a first time builder? I've read around online and many people say it's not the best, but does that make it harder for a noobie like me to use or to get a good result out of? I really don't want to screw this up.

The only series that is more shafted when it comes to MGs is Stargazer and G-Reco where only the Strike Noir has one and G has nothing, and even that can be argued that Stargazer is an OVA so it wouldn't have a lot.
00 has 5 MGs, 4 of them being the protagonist suit with the last one coming out in 2011 being the Seven Swords which is just the 00 Raiser without the raiser and different weapons. It's a down right crime when compared to Wing and SEED where damn near, if not every gundam has it's own kit.

Metal tracks are always super tough, but Dragon magic tracks aren't too bad after reading some tips. I saw an awesome video that taught me to use a metal ruler and put a long piece of masking tape face UP on top of it, then tape that down on each end. Then you just lightly stick each track to the tape so they all stay connected and run light cement up and down the completed thing, then once it's sat for a minute and started to meld you drape it over the wheels

Not sure if it's a 4chanX (Chrome Addon) only feature, but you can curb the image spammer too by filtering the Image MD5 hash. Easy as a few clicks.

The styrene idea is the obvious one. If you're worried about strength, the answer is pinning. Pinning will make it strong enough.

For effect you/he could then drape some dollar store jewelry chain across the shoulders. Maybe after hitting it with some matte paint since it might look extraordinarily shiny.
