Can someone remind me why nobody else uses this against funnel/missile attacks again?

It's only in the ANT movie and something that most people couldn't pull off even if they thought of it since Haman specifically had her funnels chase the Zeta at close range rather than snipe at it like most funnel users do.
Why was it called Beam Confuse?
Doesn't it require sacrificing a beam saber to? Beam sabers being the most useful weapon in general for a Gundam lead against single opponents and pretty useful in taking out funnels. Probably not worth the trade.

>Lightning Zeta Gundam
>Looks like it could feasibly transform into a Waverider mode
>Can't transform, and instead uses the Waverider bits to ape Sekai's giant phoenix attack
Goddammit Yuuma.

Let's face it, Beam sabers wouldn't that useful in head on attacks because they enemy can just back up or run away. They really are something that are better used if you can flank or sneak up on the enemy or if you are in a congested situation that would call for its use.

Because it's confusing how that shit was even possible.
I guess space autism magic enables all things.

It's not that confusing. I-Fields deflect beams. Beam sabers are made of I-Fields. Spinning the saber meant that the beam hitting it was like a spray of water going into a fan, it got scattered instead of just bouncing off.

Because confuse is 撹乱 run through a machine translator.
