they'd probably have to dub all of the voice lines so I doubt it would happen.

Nah they could just bring the English version straight from the Asian release. That's been Bandais MO for localizing these games recently. Jojos Bizarre Adventure, Saint Seiya, and Gundam Vs Force all came to NA with japanese audio and english text.

What units are viable in hell mode? I am assuming unicorn stuff, but what else?

Will I be able to hang onto Full Armor ZZ in hell mode? Will Sazabi still be viable? Is Kshatriya any good or should I just stick with unicorns?

>>15003188
Wait until the translation patch is done, then play it on PPSSPP.
>>
>>15003741
I think the translation patch is dead since Genesis was released with an English option and its clearly better from a gameplay point, lacking in units though.
>>
So, I'm in a bit of of a conundrum. 0079 units kinda become shit late game because their starting stats are so bad and the new levelup/stat ruleset basically means they can never truly match a higher end unit at equal level.

So that said, what are some good 0087-0096 era units that aren't Gundams that would be good for all Zeon based teams to use? I'm looking for melee focused, sniper focused, general purpose, units that can defend, and most importantly, DON'T rely on Psycommu since so many 0079-0083 era Zeon pilots are Oldtypes. Halp?
>>
>>15003749
Can't quote sources directly but I can safely tell you it's not dead. I have a friend beta testing it (And am quite jealous of this).

We're expecting completion around March 2017 currently.
>>

>>
>>15003987
Easiest way to get a Ball is Igloo 1. Spawn the secret unit (Ball K Type) and capture the subordinates. Level it up and boom, got your ball.

Getting one from Aboa Qu on MSG's final stage is NOT worth it.
>>
>>15002303
>>15002350
Thanks
For some reasons I did UC and CCA first.
I have Lvl 20-ish Green Unicorn with Lvl 40-ish OYW Char that has 95% dodge rate on almost everything.
And Lvl 28 Nahel Argama
Am I good for the stage or I need more grinds?
>>
>>15004282
Well beyond it. Assuming you're playing on normal, Igloo 1 is easy as hell. It's literally just three ship kills and a Ball K Type.
>>
>>15004282
Derp, for some reason I thought you were talking about getting the Ball. My bad.

Though if you did UC first and worked your way backwards, you have access to some of the best stuff in the game and should have little problem clearing the other storylines.

I know it sounds like bullshit, but as a fellow green corn cheeser please boost green corn to at least Lv45+ (assuming you dump literally all points onto attack) with the rest of the team having 350 statline suits and ~Lv 20 pilots. Having more suits with long range, anti-large size weaponry is a big plus since Turn-A itself and G-self are actually squishy enough to be crushed by your green corn

Also you MUST bring a Neo Zeong and equip as many MS with the map attack barrier as possible

Even with this set up you will still struggle, mainly with the cocoons trying to self destruct on your ship, but don't lose hope

>>
>>15005616
Efreet Nacht has a cheap entry to Gyan, if you're willing to trade a Phoenix in for Efreet Custom and go from there. Even unlocks M'Quve as a roster buy too.
>>
>>15005607
Natural stat-growth plus possibly focusing all the extra stat-points into attack? I don't have Genesis just yet, but when you level a unit up it gets some stats up plus giving you points for an extra few points to distribute for extra stat-ups, yeah? Maybe if you focus almost exclusively on attack, by level 98 you could be at 999 .

Also neat, I didn't know Nicofox was back to working, now I can download some G Genesis animation videos.
>>
>>15005614
If the Gihren's Greed games were translated you'd probably enjoy them for that kind of stuff, what with huge potential alterations to the timeline and MS development.

Still wish the G Gen games would use a bit more of that, I kind of wanted to see Char's Gundam or the Gyan variants in Genesis. Also those Ez8 variants that will never appear. Instead all Gihren's Greed gets in Genesis is...what, Char's Rick Dom and the Prototype Mk. II Gundam with Zero?
>>
>>15005645
Who know maybe if the guys behide the overworld translation feel like hurting themselves more then they may go for a Gihren's Greed translation
>>
>>15005426
How the fuck?! The scariest part is that the ATK stat isn't even getting boosted. Just MOB/MOV are. I guess this means you can somehow get OYW units to godly ATK values, the question is how one has the patience to level that fucking high.
>>
>>15005652
There is an ongoing attempt at Gihren's Greed. It's on GBATemp.
>>
>>15005645
Oh yeah, If I could have any game translated it would definitely be the Gihren's Greed Series. Everything I've seen about it looks amazing. Like giving Ramba Ral the prototype Doms and he captures White Base, or Garma living and forming his own Zeon.

Also I really like Gyan, and there are almost no variants for it. I didn't know Gihren's Greed had any.
>>
>>15005742
Yeah, Gihren's Greed had plenty for the Gyan. As I understand it, you could make the choice to mass produce it instead of the Gelgoog, so any variants they had would become Gyan variants, so you'd have Gyan Cannons and High-Mobility Gyans and so on.

I wonder, does anyone in possession of the English version of the game have the capacity to and feel like taking screens of some unit profiles? I'm kind of interested in what the gallery says about some units and how the translation for that section of the game looks.
>>
>>15005788
I would but the photos always turn sideways for some reason when I post them
>>
>>15005788
I can do that if you don't mind waiting a bit.

Which units do you want?
>>
>>15005742
I think we can relish in the fact that, when another Gihren's Greed gets made, they will probably make a SEA version for that too.
>>

I would, but screenshots are disabled for the Vita version. Sorry mate.

>>15005791
I wouldn't mind so long as they were still legible.

>>15005795
I don't mind waiting. Let's see, what is there that I know of that I'm most interested in...

Great Zeong, Psyco Gundam Mk III, Prototype Psyco Gundam, Titania, Z-II, Heavy Gundam, that third Unicorn Gundam (Phenix?), Hummingbird...and anything you can grab from the AoZ series that Genesis came with pre-DLC.

Tried not to be too greedy there, but that does seem like a lot looking back. Thanks to you if you manage this for me.

Eh, you never know. Let's hope it happens.

Regarding the screenshots, just gimme some minutes and I'll grab what I have.

They should try to revamp the whole game, maybe make it more like Civilization/Galactic Civilization in terms of presentation.

That or branch out into other universes/making a crossover game version.

How have you guys been liking the Get Gauge system so far?

It's pretty neat imo, just it could charge a bit faster for some units(I believe it charges slower depending on how strong the unit in general is though i dont know exact numbers)

Psyco Gundam Mk-III:
"A mobile suit developed in secret by government forces. It was stolen from a military testing facility during compatibility tests with the pilot Maria Nichols, who was the test subject for a super sense-enhancing virus.

This machine's fighting capabilities are extraordinarily high. Its body is covered with mega particle cannons, and both arms sport large beam swords. Excelling in everything from melee combat to long-range attacks, it boasts well-rounded performance in any situation.

After being stolen from the Earth government forces, it was taken to a military base on the moon that was involved in the planetary catastrophe known as the "Flames of Judgment". Here it was used in an attempt to create an ideal world government led by a new, superior form of humanity."

Phenex (Unicorn Mode)
"Model Number: RX-0.

In U. C. 0095, Federation staff officers attempted to take back control of the UC Project, one of a number of their Federation Space Force reconstruction plans, from the Vist Foundation. This resulted in the military's secret development of this prototype mobile suit.

Construction data from the first and second units developed under the UC Project (known as the Unicorn and Banshee respectively) was the foundation for this third unit's design. Its magnificent gold coat makes it instantly recognizable.

This third unit followed in the footsteps of its siblings with a movable frame completely built from psycho-frame material, unlike previous machines. This first "full psycho-frame" MS featured responsiveness unmatched by any mobile suit to date.

Due to the properties of the psycho-frame, its performance was extremely high. During a comparative evaluation against the Banshee, the Phenex was dispatched to disrupt the testing of a Sleeves prototype. Its success in engaging and destroying the enemy domonstrated its immense potential."
>>
>>15005979
Phenex (Destroy Mode):

"Model Number: RX-0.
The prototype mobile suit Phenex, secretly developed by the Federation Forces, features a system called NT-D which expands the inner frame of the mobile suit, transforming the machine itself. In addition to the armor, the Armed Armor DE on its back also opens up. The joints of the armor slide open to reveal the psycho-frame beneath, giving it a vastly different appearance from its so-called Unicorn Mode.
With Wings outspread and blue psycho-frame alight, the Gundam assumes the form of its phoenix design motif. As many aspects of the psycho-frame still remained unexplained, the Federation installed a limiter to dampen its performance. The true power of an active NT-D is not yet known..."

Honestly, I'd be more for a G Gen game that does all sort of weird crossover things, like sticking the Gundam X crew in IBO and making Sei and Reiji fight Amuro and Char in a Gunpla Battle.

That would give the campaign some value, instead of just playing through the shows' stories/thinly altered versions of them.

>>15006214
For ship grinding, 08th MS Team 1 can be good after you eliminate all the mobile suits, then use Anti Aircraft guns on all the helis/dopps. The Magella secret units are also worth a ton if you kill the leader's tank, but save the top for last until you kill the other Magellas fully.

If you're looking for a safe low level area, 1st Gundam 2 is good since it's mostly tanks/dopps and only a few MS near the end.

If you can afford to take on stronger enemies, Unicorn 1 is VERY good due to the ridiculous EXP Full Frontal shits out on both kills, plus the Geara Doga secret units. Full Frontal however is near impossible for low level pilots/suits on normal, on hard/extra he's even worse.

Decided to mix both.

>Zudah - EMS-10
A prototype mobile suit created by Zimmad, in hopes that it would be formally adopted as the mainline MS of the Principality of Zeon. It was originally developed as the EMS-04 Zudah, a high-performance machine with excellent mobility, which employed a Saturn engine that could run on extremely heavy propellants such as lead, zinc, and bismuth. Together with the AMBAC system, this high thrust and acceleration enabled it to make extremely rapid turns, which ironically exceeded the machine's limits and caused it to break up in mid-air during an official test flight. This disaster led to the EMS-04's official rejection. However, it underwent structural improvements and was resurrected as the supposedly all-new EMS-10 Zudah, a high-performance machine far surpassing the Zaku.
Tragically, the defects of the original design could not be resolved, and it is not even certain whether the planned upgrade work was actually carried out. Four prototype units were stationed aboard the test support ship Jotunheim for assessment by the 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit. The ill-fated machine broke apart yet again, ending all chances of mass production for good.

>Zudah Unit 1 - EMS-10 (same as above, with one extra line)
This is the first unit, assigned to Lt. Commander Jean Luc Duvall. The horn on its head indicates that is is a commander machine.

cont
>>
>>15006677
>Hildolfr - YMT-05
A prototype mobile tank developed by the Principality of Zeon. Though covered in thick armor, this behemoth can reach speeds of 110km/hour. It's 30cm cannon is capable of firing a variety of rounds, including APFSDS and incendiary shells, giving it show-stopping offensive muscle. It could truly be described as a super-dreadnought tank.
Its upper section can change into mobile suit form. this lets it use its shovel arm units for melee combat, and it can carry weapons such as a Zaku machine gun for close combat against MS.
There were high hopes for its great fighting strength. However, the top military brass decided not to adopt the machine after its initial functional evaluation. Two years later, the 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit tested it on Earth, but the vehicle was never recovered afterwards. This field deployment was therefore actually a form of disposal.

>Jormungand - QCX-76A
An experimental fusion plasma cannon for use in fleet battles, developed by the Principality of Zeon to vaporize enemy warships from outside their firing range. Its 200-meter barrel, lined with supplementary injectors, fires a plasmoid discharge with an output of 150,000 kW, enough to destroy a Federation Magellan-class battleship with a single shot. It's maximum range under Minovsky particle interference is approximately 30 km. Even at the outer limits of this range, the Jormungand is ten times more powerful than the largest warship gun. (cont in next post)
>>
>Jormungand
High hopes were held for this weapon, leading to field testing by the 603rd Tech Eval Unit during the Battle of Loum. Problems arose, however, one being the high susceptibility of the superheated plasma shots to magnetic interference. A spotter unit was needed to relay target data for precise aiming.
The other problem was the introduction of the mobile suit, a humanoid weapon that the military was also developing at the same time. This ultimately deprived the Jormungand of a chance to prove its worth, and it was never fired in battle again.

>Ball (Shark Mouth Type)
This space combat pod was developed as a simple type of mobile suit, to supplement the Fed's predicted shortfall in GM production during the OYW.
Originally, it was nothing more than military equipment for industrial labor. But after the decision was made to mass-produce it for combat use, it was fitted with reinforced armor and a Guntank cannon over a series of prototype stages. Several different variations exist.
This machine uses fuel cells as a power source and does not need to cool down after returning from a mission. It also has a high-mobility vernier system that allows it to work in tandem with GMs, making it a valuable asset on the battlefield.
Unique paint jobs were allowed on a team level, provided they did not interfere with the mission, with one popular pattern being the gaping "shark mouth." It became a common sight in the field throughout the OYW, and often a welcome boost to morale.
>>
>Big-Rang - MA-05Ad
A giant mobile armor made using parts from a super-dreadnought MA developed Zeon, connected to the mass-produced MA Bigro that was created for high-speed space combat. The ammunition depot in its hull section can supply weapons and ammunition to mobile pods on the front lines, and perform emergency maintenance so that they can fight continuously. Its armaments includes the high-output mega particle cannon and claw arms of the Bigro core unit, while the hull section know as the "Ad Unit" can deploy beam-disrupting screens and fire anti-ship missiles.
This machine displayed great efficacy in chaotic battlefields. But with a height of 138m and a length of 203m, its maneuverability was poor, and it had difficulty dealing with attacks not directly ahead.

>Oggo - MP-02A
A mobile pod developed for space combat by Zeon as the tide of war started to take an unfavorable turn. It was introduced as a decisive battle weapon to fill the gap left by the painful shortage of mobile suits and veteran pilots at the end of the OYW.
This machine makes use of existing parts and weapons such as the Zaku machine gun, thereby keeping production costs down.
It's control system is also relatively easy to master, and so it is mainly used by new recruits and rookie pilots.
Though its performance was said to trump that of the Fed Forces Ball, its mobility and armor were inferior to those of a mobile suit, and it could not completely fill the gap caused by Zeon's MS shortage.
>>
>Ze'Gok - MSM-07Di
A "mobile diver system" and its corresponding control unit, developed by the Principality of Zeon to launch surprise attacks from satellite orbit. The control unit is based on the amphibious mobile suit Z'Gok, which has exceptional pressure and shock resistance and is equipped with hybrid thermonuclear engines. One arm is replaced by a sensor arm so that it can control the hastily constructed Logistics Weapon Container (LWC).
For the third test conducted by the 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit, the machine was fitted with a Kuhblume diffuse beam cannon, and then dropped into the stratosphere to intercept and enemy fleet that was being launched from Jaburo. Though using this weapon for more than five seconds risked destroying the machine, it succeeded in downing five enemy ships. After detaching the Kuhblume, however, the control unit lost all its fighting capabilities. At this point, a Federation attack sent the Ze'Gok hurtling into the sea.

>Core Booster II Interceptor Type - FF-X7-Bst-II
A variation of the Core Booster, which was created by attaching a booster to the Federation Forces' Core Fighter, greatly enhancing its firepower and cruising range. This fighter was developed to intercept enemy machines entering the atmosphere at high altitudes.
This type was equipped with a machine gun on its right side and extra boosters. during the One Year war, it was used to shoot down Zeon's Ze'Gok and a Gaw carrier.
>>
>Herbet von Kuspen's Gelgoog - MS-14 (most of it is just the Gelgoog's entry, last paragraph is specific to this custom)
A joint project of the Zeonic, Zimmad and MIP companies to develop a worth successor to the Zaku II, the main mobile suit of the Principality of Zeon. The final product was completed in the final days of the war, and represented the pinnacle of Zeon's MS technology. It was also the first Zeon MS to truly adopt portable beam weaponry.
Though similar in size to the Dom, its thrust was enhanced, giving it great maneuverability and mobility. Its beam weapons also have the Gelgoog a leg up in both close and long-range combat, allowing it to overwhelm the Federation's mainline MS during the last stages of the One Year War.
Captain Herbert von Kuspen bought this machine.
>>
There, last of the Igloo units. I lightly edited a couple of those so they wouldn't push past the character limit and flood the thread more than necessary.

>Assault Guntank - RTX-440
Meant to improve the anti-MS capabilities of the RTX-44 which served as a prototype for the Guntank, this machine boasts far more weaponry than the base machine, enabling a wider variety of attacks.
Its most distinctive feature is the ability to change into assault gun form by deploying its front sub-crawler while sliding its upper body to achieve a forward-bent posture. This gives it mobility surpassing that of most mobile suits. However, its development was halted after data on it was leaked to the Principality of Zeon. This prevented mass production and forced the Federation Forces to self-destruct the remaining prototypes in order to maintain secrecy.

Yes, Neo Zeong is your tank basically. The Barrier OP is from one of those bronze OP quests, so you either reload before stage completion to trick the RNG or just complete all bronze OP quests.

Sorry, meant to say grinding up suits to a minimum to 350 across the board - although I'm saying it because that's how I completed the stage (struggling) and it never hurts to have more. Thinking of revisiting Cross Dimension 0079 Mission 2 later for the Hard clear and Pale Rider unlock. On Easy I hit the "kill everything on the map that isn't Boone (or mines) before Bork defeats Boone in Round 2" quest, but I'm confused about the timing for "Bork defeats Boone in 1 turn".

If it's during the first part of the mission, I'm basically sacrificing the challenge event for it and running the risk of not having the EN/Tension/accuracy for the job (or botching the Chance Steps because not enough machine gun hits connect on the Mines along the way). During Round 2 is right out, since he respawns on the other side of the map.
>>
>>15008028
That quest may be a translation error

"In Stage 02,destroy all enemy units except Henry(and anti MS mines),then have Borkh(loltypo) destry Henry"

>>
>>15008043
If it's meant to be "In 1 attack", then my only way to game it is to clear enough Mines for the challenge event, but let the rest detonate on Bork to massage HP loss for Reserves. Which will get out-healed in time through Independent Guest Healing.

And Boone starts moving after, I wanna say Turn 5? If he engages anywhere further than 1 square away and/or Bork isn't at Super Critical and less than half HP, it's a wash.

ah the 1turn one
It's the one where Henry and his squad are north and you need to play with mines to reach him and kill him with Bork
>>
Wound up doing it on Normal due to firepower concerns, but the theorycraft shook out OK on hard.

Turns out if you plow through the mines such that a Master Unit can cast Lock On onto Bork, he'll automatically hit with all 5 hits of the Pixy SMG and thus autokill a mine. Two of these, an auto-hit Aurora Attack on Henry, then kill him on counterattack during the enemy Turn 1.

>less than 100 units away

How many units are there, total? I know G Gen counts transformations as separate a lot of the time and 10% is Zaku and Gelgoog variants, but still.
>>
>>15008388
Too lazy to take pictures right now, but here:

>Perfect Gundam - PF-78-1
This high-performance machine represents a proposal for enhancing the Federation forces close combat mobile suit Gundam. The design goal was to elevate all performance aspects to their maximum potential.
Its arsenal is devastating, with a twin beam gun attached to the right arm, a fixed shoulder cannon, and mines inside the shield on its left arm. The chest and leg armor has also been reinforced, a high-output backpack is attached, and leg verniers are added for extra mobility. This full complement of performance enhancements make the machine worthy of its "Perfect" title.
Details concerning the development process and exact specs, however, are not clear. Whether or not the suit even exists is debated.

>how many units
448 units, 83 warships and 12 SFS.
>>
>>15009047
>Gundam 7th - RX-78-7
Intended to be the seventh Gundam unit built under the Federation Force's Operation V mobile suit development plan, this machine was developed as part of the extra armament plan known as the FSWS Project.
From the beginning, this machine was designed to use a full armor system and other optional equipment, allowing it to improve on the already strong expansion features of the mobile suit and enhance its generator output, mobility, and maneuverability. In the end, only one unit with full armor would ever be completed.

>Full Armor Gundam 7th - FA-78-3
The fully armored seventh Gundam unit built under the Federation Forces' Operation V mobile suit development plan. Its concept was based to some degree on the extra armament ideas of the FSWS Project, and, after consideration was given to improving the matching with the base machine, it came to be known as an enhanced type MS.
From a performance standpoint, the body and extra armor were equipped with numerous sub-thrusters, with sub-generators built into the armor parts as well. This allowed it to maintain significant mobility and maneuverability in full armor form when fighting in space.
The ideal of what the Federation Forces had intended with their MS development, this machine represented the high end of the RX series and could be considered the "final Gundam model."
>>
>>15009072
>Heavy Armed FA Gundam 7th - HFA-78-3
The heavy form of the seventh Gundam unit built under the Federation Force's Operation V mobile suit development plan. This machine's multiple shoulder- and waist-mounted weapons gave it exceptional firepower, while the addition of large boosters made it extremely mobile. Based on anti-MA combat data, this would be the "final Gundam form" of the One Year War era.

>Blue Destiny Unit 1 - RX-79-BD-1
A Federation Forces prototype mobile suit developed with the aid of Chlust Morses, a scientist who defected from Zeon's Flanagan Agency. This was the first Federation MS equipped with the special control technology known as the EXAM system.
This machine was originally based on a GM Ground Type, but its performance was insufficient to realize the EXAM system's specs. Eventually, the GM head which housed the system was transferred to a Gundam Ground Type, which then underwent extensive modifications. This included an improved generator, and magnet coating for greater maneuverability.
In terms of weaponry, chest-mounted machine guns and wire-guided missiles provided a substantial increase in firepower from the base model.
Its most distinctive feature, however, was the aforementioned EXAM system. When activated, this provided a potent advantage in combat. Unfortunately, it was highly unstable. During a test run, the system went out of control, with grave consequences to the test pilot. (cont)
>>
>>15009089
>Blue Destiny Unit 1
The system continued fighting, with no distinction between friend and foe. Because of this catastrophe, a limiter was added, and the machine was assigned to pilot Yuu Kajima.
Though this machine was used under gravity, it can also be equipped with a backpack for combat operations in space.

> Blue Destiny Unit 2 - RX-79BD-2
A Federation Forces prototype mobile suit developed with the aid of Chlust Morces, a scientist who defected from Zeon's Flanagan Agency. This was the second Federation MS equipped with the special control technology known as the EXAM system, and unlike the first unit, it was based from the start on a Ground Type Gundam. It thus used a Gundam head.
Its performance is basically the same as the first unit, with the chief differences being compatibility with a beam rifle and the addition of space combat equipment.
Note that the EXAM system limiter has not been installed, and due to the system's incomplete nature, it automatically activates when it detects a dangerous situation. This greatly increases its abilities, but the system will shut down after a certain interval has elapsed;
>>
>>15009101
>Blue Destiny Unit 2 (Nimbus Color) (as above with the following added)
This version of the machine, with its red-painted shoulders, reflects the personal taste of the Zeon pilot Nimbus Schterzen who stole the Blue Destiny Unit 2.

>Blue Destiny Unit 3 - RX-79BD-3
A Federation Forces prototype mobile suit developed with the aid of Chlust Morses, a scientist who defected from Zeon's Flanagan Agency. This was the third Federation MS equipped with the special control technology known as the EXAM system, and it was originally created as spare for the first and second units.
Its performance was basically the same as the first unit, with an EXAM system limiter installed to prevent it running wild, and it was assigned to Yuu Kajima as a replacement for the lost Unit 1. After a number of missions on Earth, this machine was assigned to the pursuit of Uni 2, which had been stolen by Nimbus. Thus it was hastily modified for use in space.
Unit 3 was slated to receive the iconic blue color scheme of its series. However, Chlust's untimely death meant that it remained in its default colors.
>>
>>15009160
>Zaku II Cold Districts Type - MS-06J
A cold climate version of the Zaku II J, a mass-produced ground combat mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. This version features various upgrades for use in cold regions, including cold-proof joint covers and a white color scheme for blending into snowy environments. But since it was not developed specifically for local warfare, its performance is more or less identical to the base machine.

>Efreet Custom - MS-08TX [EXAM]
An experimental mobile suit developed by the Flanagan Agency, which conducted Newtype research for the Principalty of Zeon, in order to test the special control technology known as the EXAM system. Based on the ground combat MS Efreet, it has undergone dramatic improvements.
The head unit, which house the EXAM system, has been enlarged to facilitate cooling. Its thrusters have also been upgraded to handle the demands of the activated system, resulting in a highly mobile machine. As for its combat capabilities, it has been tuned for melee combat to suit the personal tastes of test pilot Nimbus Schterzen. When used in tandem with the Exam system, the result is a highly effective fighting unit.
The red-painted shoulders, incidentally, were another of Nimbus's requests.

Any tips for Genesis?

My order arrives monday.
So far I've heard just going through Normal mode leaves you lacking in cash, so I should also try missions on hard mode for funds.

Anything else? I've never played one of these.
>>
>>15009224
Don't move mobile suits too far from their homeship cause if you put a unit back in a warship it will regain all its en and hp in a turn
>>
>>15009224
Unit stats go up a lot as you advance the timeline. Your gundams will be outclassed by grunts if you stick with 0079 units.
>>
>>15009047
Thanks again my friend.

>448

Almost 300 below Overworld, ouch. Wonder how the numbers compare to Spirits, though.
>>
>>15010181
Shit, this concerns me.

Is there a way to powerboost stats so that I can run any specific mobile suit I want, for even late timeline missions?

I dont plant to stick with just 0079 units but there are a few from side stories (like Efreet) that I would like to use even in endgame.
>>
>>15010275
The efreet from unicorn has decent stats but should not touch hell mode without a stupid amount of grind. Yeah it sucks ass.
>>
>>15010317
I'm slowly starting to miss how Overworld had crazy shit in every era and AU. Things just FELT more balanced
>>
>a fuck tons of 0079 MSV units
>Jegan alone blows away every single one of them

What's the point?
>>
>>15007783
I think SRW is more what you want?
>>
>>15010275
I have no idea I thought you couldn't power boost stats but there is this guy >>15005426
>>
>>15010337
Yeah it feels like wasted effort. So many units only good for so little of the game
>>
>>15009224
-play it like you're playing chess
-keep in mind the range of your MS from your motherships, they run out energy each attacks, and if you deplete it, they can't fight back and will just do def and evades
-get an S rank MS on your team ASAP
-have fun mixing up you team composition

See the tabs on the upper right of the MS pic? that tells you the ranking of MS performance on terrain, mid-air, space, and underwater

this here is my first S-rank space MS and its a monster that can kill warships 1 one shot
>>
>>15010275
just a lot of grinding with good OPs, stats max out at 999 anyway and many suits can hit that for one stat

The thing you cannot solve is the weapons (range, psycommu scaling which early UC units seldom have, special effects, raw firepower)
>>

Nightgale I think, but why would someone choose that cuck to become the master for these girls?

Used a Gamefaqs guide to check; Spirits had 461 units with profiles while having the following series:

Mobile Suit Gundam Movie
MSV
MS-X
Mobile Suit Gundam 08MS Team
Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO One year war secret documents
Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO Black Apocalypse
Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden Blue Destiny
Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden land where the colony fell
Mobile Suit Gundam Chronicles
Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden Space, The Flashes Limit
Zeonic Front Mobile Suit Gundam 0079
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 Ware in the Pocket
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
Advance of Z In the Flag of Titans
Mobile Suit Z Gundam mobie
Z-MSV
Gundam Sentinel
Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Counterattack
CCA-MSV
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaways Flash
Mobile Suit Gundam F90
Mobile Suit Gundam F91
Mobile Suit Gundam Shilhuette Formula 91
Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam
Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam Skull Heart
Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam 7 steel men
Mobile Suit V Gundam
Gundam Weapons
SD Gundam Gachapon Senshi Scramble Wars
SD Gundam GX
Mobile Suit Gundam Giren's Greed
Mobile Suit Gundam Cross Dimension
Gundam Tactics ~Mobility Fleet 0079~
Mobile Suit Gundam Bonds of the Battlefield

I'd say it compares fairly well, if you take into account both were used to "renew" the franchise.

Who will pilot Turn A BH when you get it anon?
I am thinking of putting Claire Heathrow in it because it kinda fits with her profile.

Which pilot can go into 999 stats?
I remember on the G Gen Overworld, only Mark Guilder, Ellis Claude and Claire can go into the highest 99 stats.

>>
what is the shortest route to an elmeth? I just realized I have a distinct lack of NT units
>>
>>15013393
Only 2 units evolve into the Elmeth, the Braw-Bro (at lvl 4) and the Qubeley Mass Production Type (at lvl 2).

The Braw-Bro is kinda hard to get, being that most of those early NT types only evolve into themselves. I think you can get a Braw by evolving a Zakrello into a Brarello an then the Braw.

One other thing is trying to see if you can find the stage that has High Mobility Psycommu System Zakus as challenge units; those evolve into the Elmeth at level 5.

The MP Quebeley will probably be a bit harder to get, the easiest entry point being the Regelgu.
>>
The Titania animations are gorgeous.
>>
What's the unlock requirement for Oliver May? The quest log is a bit unclear.
>>
>>15013928
just level up your battleship crews, the requirement is to clear a mission with someone with 200 and more maintenance status

>>

Unicorn stage 1 on Extra/Hell. Using EXP boosting skills for the challenge units. I'd gain 3 levels every 2 runs or so.

>>

>>

I'm pretty sure the OPs you get by clearing quests are random, actually.
>>
>>15015526
Really huh so I just got lucky
>>
>>15013460

I went the Regelgu route... shit is stupid roundabout.

Started with MSG and Just cleared war chronicles, I think I should just top screwing around the tech trees and devote myself to leveling up corns, Hi Nus and Psyco haros for hell mode. Where is everyone farming ACE points? Im doing the same as overworld, just fucking around in MSG1 having both ships with one kill each and having a single Master clear the map.

when will we get our december DLC?
>>
Just got my copy and just started.

I'm on 0079 mission 2. I was told I can skip around to some things if I want. Can I jump into missing link (or whichever one with the cool Efreet) immediately or should I wait until I'm done at least 0079?
>>
>>15017523
I did Unicorn first and then CCA :D
>>
>>15017523
You can start any series you want, so go ahead?

Big maps are kind of a pain with just one warship/team, so i personally waited until i could buy White Base before trying any other series.
>>

DLC #2 (December 2016, 100 yen standalone) – Additional Unit Pack: Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin
DLC #3 (January 2017, 200 yen standalone) – Additional Unit Pack: Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans
DLC #4 (February 2017, 100 yen standalone) – Additional Unit Pack: Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt

>>
can you get zeta plus in amuro colours or just the default grey?

don't tell me thats two separate units
>>
>Tfw bought it on vita

So I'm basically fucked out of getting any DLC right? Since you cant easily switch system locales of the vita I cant make an asian account to get the DLC.

At least with Gundam Breaker I could play Bounty Hunter mode and access DLC mobile suit parts that way.
>>
>>15019129
It's a hassle, but I have a second memory card to swap regions. It requires a factory reset each time, which is a pain, but luckily I don't have anything to play on my base account so there's no constant swapping necessary.
>>
>>15018957

2 units IIRC, Amuro's is land only while Gray is space only.
>>
Having trouble wrapping my head around the Challenge in 0080-1 (Can Bernie reach the target area without a fight?). The logic follows that at all points of Bernie's run to the spaceport, you want him 8 spaces away from GM Commands at all times (their 4 squares of movement plus 4 squares of Beam Gun range).

Turning north or south from the first intersection you hit, though, an extra GM Command spawns if Bernie is 6 tiles or fewer away from it. And there's no tiles of buffer so you can dash through intersections rigged with spawns while still keeping pace ahead of the initial squad. What do?
>>
>>15019950
The GMs that spawn won't attack you on their first turn.
>>
>>14988048
Is it alright if I just keep leveling a suit I like?

I want to keep Gundam Mk III FA
>>
>>15019967
Oh, sure, that's the whole point of the games, practically, is to play what you want. Enough levels and even a GM can be broken.

Nice taste there with the FA Mk. III, I haven't seen it in-game, but the profile on the site made it look cool.
>>
>>15020003
Neat, thanks.

I just fiddled around with leveling up suits to develop and/or exchange and managed to nab Mk III.

GM 2 Sniper
Geara Doga
Phoenix Gundam

Kampfer
FA Gundam Mk. VII
Jegan

I can't beat stage 2 of 08th MS Team because these the Guntanks are built out of paper mache and spit.
Can anyone tell me WHAT the FUCK I am doing wrong before I have an aneurysm?
>>
>>15020105

It's all about Support Attacks and Chance Step for that stage.

Use the Gundams to engage the Zakus from the side of the screen first, and then move the Guntanks to the very limit of the range of their main cannons. Have each Guntank polish off a Zaku and use their Chance Step to move into cover. Always try to use the Guntanks to polish off damaged enemies, and then use their Chance Step to move them out of reach.

Keep Shiro and one of the other Gundams together to fight the Gouf Custom. Be sure that Shiro kills the Gouf with the beam saber though, that's how you unlock Norris.

Hope that helps!
>>
>>15020191
So use the Gundams as bait, huh... Alright, thanks. I'll give it a shot.
>>
>>15020191

>>
So whats the most recommended ps2 game?
>>
>>15021178
spirits or wars
>>
>>15021178
Spirits if you want a fully voiced, UC focused game with great presentation but tedious gameplay that forces you to stop having fun if you want to use your favorite characters.

Wars if you want a condensed version of the main Gundam series going from the original series up to 00 Season 1 with piss easy gameplay and a lot of freedom in team building. You might want to play the Wii version instead though.
>>
>>15021195
>>15021193
Well,I've already plated Genesis, which is more or less Spirits 2.0,so I'll go with Wars
