You may also like Macross VF-X2 (ps1), and Macross Triangle Frontier (psp) which are very similar.
Triangle Frontier is especally good because it covers the entire story from the original series up to Frontier (even has a few Macross II stages) and a couple hundred units you can pilot (all VFs and destroids from all shows, even Klan with SAP parts and Drunk Kamujin Riding A Monster.

And the best thing about these to games is...
They don't have those bullshit sniper stages from Robotech: Battlecry. Good luck with those, you're going to need it.

It's pretty good, although the biggest problem with it is the fact that the source code's fucking lost and now it can't get ported to ANYTHING.

It's good, but fuck does it have a lot of irritating escort missions.

The mode changes are pretty great, story is garbage and some escort missions are tedious. Pretty fun title if mostly mindless.

Oh yeah - there's a yandere who orgasms when she dies at your hands. She's a recurring minor boss throughout the game.

No, because Microsoft would have to make an Xbox Hueg emulator and release it, due to the proprietary hardware it used (some custom Nvidia GPU or something).

Haha, I actually had the opportunity to buy this too at the same place I got the xbox game but this had noticeably mediocre reviews compared to the one I got so I passed
