I was laughing really hard when Gou slept on the floor and they put the sound effect each time he had a spasm.

Heart's portion was a little too comedic for my tastes through most of it, though I guess that's to be expected with Gen as a major character. Heart's last ride was simple, but watching him no sell every attack and body the composite Roidmude was great. Still not a fan of his Rider design though.

Mach was a little stronger and felt more like a proper follow-up to the series even though the girl was a little irritating. I distinctly remember the Ride Macher and all of Mach's gear being locked away at the end of the series, so I'm not sure where it all came from unless it was reproduced. Mach Chaser fight was a little weak, but the design is pretty neat even if it is a repaint.

A lot of these Gaiden/V-Cinema movies feel like they get a little too overwrought with drama, I wish they didn't feel compelled to write them like that just because they "can".

Otherwise alright though, still a treat to see more of the Drive cast. Mach Chaser is totally what Chaser Mach should've been, too.

Mach's base stats are stronger in general and its weapons are more straightforward in combat, but Drive's gimmicks are ridiculously good at blowing shit up with lasers, and can be used for other, less-combat-oriented things, like hacking machines and performing KITT-like stunts across the city. If someone with more sense than Banno copied more of Krim's tech and used it for something practical, they might actually be able to change the face of crime. Or blow up the city with lasers.

Harley's stuff is easier to scale-down and manage, so it's for the best that his stuff can continue to be modified and improved upon while Krim's is locked away in the vault until it's needed/safe.

Damn, that was fun.

The Heart part was fun and a decent comedy, bittersweet ending.

Mach's part was great, i'm a sucker for romance and the "hero falls in love with villain girl" is always fucking great.
a bit darker than i thought it would be but damn fun still.

Go's interactions with Kiriko were cute, i would believe they are brother and sister, was cool to see them in a more relaxed way.

Tomari has become a mentor and thats amazing, shame he didn't share a single scene with his wife kek.

Also Rinna's sense of style is fucking amazing, except for a couple of hair styles she is /fa/ as fuck.
