It doesn't matter. No twist survives the first viewing, and most of them are spoiled for those experiencing them before that point. And most twists are pretty boring once they've been revealed. It's less of an issue of being believable; my legitimacy runs on what I share and so far I do this to gain everyone's trust here. By going to media, I'm jeapordizing myself to blackmail & the fans will be skeptical. That and I'd just garner too much attention
