The first time? Easily, just equip 00 Raiser parts and use Trans-Am Burst when the game prompts you to go into super mode. It'll stun him long enough to knock off a huge chunk of his health.

Shop lists include all DLC suits (for the paid DLCs) at HG and select ones (mainly the IBO ones in their NG 1/100 forms) at MG. The RE:BREAK duo remain parts drop-only.

Also there sure are a lot of you not using Grenade (Rapid) Fire/High Power Fire and their ilk. Still getting wicked stagger rates with a piddly Gusion SMG after all these months off the wagon.

I could understand this on Newtype difficulty, but are you guy(s) not leveling your parts every so often or not having fun in the arena from time to time?

I just find it hard to believe that the entire game isn't just a smash-smash-smash game a la Dynasty Warriors, but even easier.

Before this I was using a machine gun, but I got lazy and use the double atomics to clear mooks so I can get to the mid-bosses and bosses faster.

Since this is GB3 related, I had a question for /m/?
I just downloaded the DLC and updates for GB3...but I was stupid and had a US account on my vita (I didn't know the DLCs would be region-locked).
So it's there and I know it's "downloaded" according to the vita, but is it not accessable or something? I'm not sure how this has occurred.
Did I just get tricked into using data space and a long download wait for DLC I still can't have?

I wanted to know whether or not I was supposed to be able to download it, or if somehow the US was able to have the DLC.

If I can download DLC I can't use and shouldn't be able to access due to my region, I'm not sure why there would be a function to allow me to download it, in all honesty. It sort of defeats the point of downloadable content if the device knows it's in the wrong region to use said DLC?

I'm super confused. By endgame I was Level14 in my parts and still creaming everything. The only enemy I had even needed my respawn tickets for was the final boss itself.

Have you been raising the rarity of your parts and feeding and adding upgrades to their special qualities? I was almost all top-rarity parts at level 14 by endgame, and I had been often pumping useless parts to buff the special qualities I liked using.

Maybe it's your setup? If you're already using the atomic bazooka, try a twinblade (not the solid double-beam one from SEED) like from the Gelgoog.

The attacks/sec on those things is phenomenal. You don't get many knockdowns, but enemies, be they mooks or bosses, can get whittled down fairly easily and you can concentrate on getting the fuck out of dodge while you spam your CCW attacks and atomics when they recharge.

I've been putting upgrades in but not a lot. I like hoarding my parts instead of breaking them down for whatever stupid reason.
for main weapons Ive been using zanbuster but i just switched to a beam saber with dissolve and twin buster rifles.I also have two sets of funnels and using super dragoon

Rare Parts Only is challenge mode. After getting a few hundred parts under your belt, you should be able to field a build of minimum Exclusive everything (maybe only a Rare body if drops have been lean or you're not using a Treasure Hunter head).

Auto lock-on is fine and more or less essential in close quarters. The only thing you miss out on if you don't go into Shooting Mode is additional (explicitly buffable) ranged damage. That extra damage is what takes Long Rifles and Gatlings from "goofy Rifle/Machine Gun replacements" to pro strat weapons though.

Probably got them via bounty hunting before clearing the game once. As you said, you can get MG parts that way, but you can't use them until you clear the game at least once.

But in all seriousness, easy mode- use extra parts on funnels, add backpack with DRAGOONS, use eighter hard hitting weapon or spammy pea shooter like above mentioned unicorn gatling.
Release remotes, fire up DRAGOONS and just dodge him.

So does the Asia version have all the same DLCs available as the Japan version? I plan on getting a 2nd Vita and I wondering if I should wait longer for text I can read or just speed through it in Japanese.

There used to be that thing where RE:BREAK was out a month later for Asia than Japan, but with the paid DLC block it seems to have become simultaneous.

Asia has a Season Pass for it, same as Japan, so they're both super easy to grab.

Nor your US save. And with the HENkaku crowd locked out of PS Store services, you have to either format your Vita to switch to the Asian account, or get a second Vita for it. (And at bare minimum an 8 GB card; I play from cart and the patches/DLC content have totaled at least three gigs, maybe another two and a half by the time Build Kingdom hits.)

make liberal use of the sidestep, which is R plus any direction. Boost increasing skills are nice too, as you can dash out of a lot of the holding skills if it's high enough and in Trance. If something's strong enough to kill you in a combo, i.e. most late game bosses, playing defensively will do wonders, as long as you have a long range weapon that isn't a nuke launcher.
