How did he do this well? The show one just had a woman in a cape that whipped him until he was told to incinerate her.

XIG is working very fast on it due to getting access to JPN captions. He translated all of Super-1 in record time because of having captions for that too.

He's working on rider 1 now, up to episode 36 currently, with 1-25 released. If he keeps up the pace, expect it to finish sometime in the first half of next year.
