There was never an official announcement made (that mattered - the one made years ago before it even got off the ground doesn't count) that it was coming out in 2016, so there's no need to announce it as being pushed back.

That said, the updates for the last two months of updates haven't exactly been encouraging. Rough timeline for the last year from their sites posts:

- Last December it was announced that it was going to actually be produced, with Pierrot as the studio who will animate it

- In early January a reiteration of that it was going to be made

- In February update they said the production committee stuff was going to start meeting in April

- In April it was announced that they've started working on a manga series based off Jinraiger

- In the May update they said things were happening but they couldn't talk about it because production committee secrets

- In the June update they said they were busy with staff selection

- In July it was announced that the staff selection was entering its final phase

- In August it was announced that they're starting doing paid weekly streams on Niconico hosted by Yuu Yamamoto, covering aspects of the production of Jinraiger but also anime creation in general.

- In the September update they said they were working on licensing things

- In October they said they said they've had to modify their original goals to be able to actually meet them. Also mentions of it airing internationally.

- Earlier this month (November) they said there have been issues with acquiring funding for the series. Oh, and Yuu Yamamoto wrote a book.

I was under the impression that Infini-T Force was only going to include Casharn, Polymar, classic Tekkaman, and the lead Gatchaman (I don't know the names off the top of my head).

I'd be thrilled to be wrong though; I love Lightan and Blade. At least Polymar is one of my favorite Tatsunoko heroes too.

I suspect the next project won't come out until 2018. Assuming that it doesn't get delayed. A lot of the key staff is book for stuff through the first half of 2017 at least.
