Yeah, it felt like a filler/character-building episode, which was nice, not what I signed up for, but it was nice. Also this makes three monsters that haven't completely goo-ified when they're defeated, which is kind of interesting considering they've only fought 4.

Actually if you listen carefully the monster in this episode is actually the same monster from Episode 1 (Jaguasaur?), just with upgraded genetic splicing to give it Pterodactyl wings. It appears that they can rebuild these monsters simply by recovering the heart, dusting it off and rejuvenating it in a primorphous gel spring. So that means that the monsters can't exactly be "killed" in the conventional sense, just defeated, unless the primorphous core is destroyed directly. It's best to remember that these monsters aren't proper life forms to begin with but artificial abominations.

Yeah, Jaguasaur. I mostly was meaning that of the 4 monsters they've faced so far, only one has been completely gooified when beaten. I assume that's why we haven't seen more primorphous cores, because the snake-octopus thing's head slithered off, the crab-babboon beat mech-x4, and upgraded Jaguasaur kinda just fucked off. No complete gooification means no primorphous core.

This show is surprisingly good for a Disney series also the Principal is a qt.

I dunno man, many of us here would agree that the dialogue is a lot less cringe than previous live action Disney shows. It's actually not that bad if you can get over how at the core it's for the Power Rangers demographic.
