On the other hand, they didn't skip episode 3 and Sayaka's top getting pulled off, so who knows.

Is the BD version of Mazinkaiser worth it, or is it just a DVD upscale?

I just started redig the Mazinger manga I got exactly what I expected, distilled 70´s japanese camp.

But mand I didnt expect it to be so fun, it reads in a breeze and the art still holds up, the desings are so fucking charming and goofy, I love it.

I vastly prefer it over Devilman, wonder what was going on since both series ran pretty close to one another, Mazinger doesnt have as many faces floating in black planels giving exposition.
