The film has pretty great art , nice music song , and Sophia is a vary pretty and strong female lead
Why did some people said it's a bad anime ?
Is there difference between the novel and the movie ?
Also, do you guys think Sophia
actually had physical sex with Wataru or its one of thouse alien woman psychical sex things ?
>>14964204
The novel as a few extra chapters not seen in the movie. I highly recommend picking it up on Amazon and it also comes with another story bundled together with it.
Also, I absolutely loved the atmosphere in the film and the road trip aspect.
>>14964299
Dose Sophia looks the same in the novel and the film ? The novel cover
appears that's she looks different.
>>14964311
I think that's the heroine from Invader Summer.
>>14964199
Most animefags seem to have ADHD.
The main song in this film is vary nice

Also, did anybody like Sophia's
smug smile ?

English version of the song, which one is better ?
>>14966304
what a smug ayylmao
what is she so smug about?
QUESTION: How good does Sophia (ayy) look in a black swimsuit (high-cut) ?
>>14968269
Defentantly going to look great, just look at how good she looks when she's naked.
Since the ending is an open ending that leaves the viewers to decide what will happen next, do you think Sophia's people will restore human's mind after her report ?
What will the story of a good sequal be about ?
>>14968241
She and her people turn humen form
able to create highly intelligent robo cop into caveman just by blowing a wind, of course she's a smug lady
I Just realise that Sophia is completely naked under her dress,no bar and no panty, she naked under that dress through out the whole adventure.
Did anybody find that kind of erotic?
>>14969231
so their farts smell so bad that people forget everything due to PTSD?
>>14969219
They probably won't, but I'm guessing she'll stay there and marry Wataru.
>>14969331
nopan isn't erotic
>>14966208
ADD and autism yes.
It's pretty sad but the anime that try to tell an interesting story aren't the ones that are considered the most popular. Everyone's watching dumb shit with the most fanservice.
I stopped going to /a years ago.

It introduces philosophical themes in a very heavy-handed way (which seemingly implies that if you pay attention, your efforts will be rewarded with precious insight) but makes no conclusive point about them.
So naturally, people who aren't used to movies that use philosophical themes as a gratuitous atmospheric element will be very disappointed and feel cheated.
There's plenty of movies that do this, but since A Wind Named Amnesia doesn't have the same marketing budget, it doesn't get a pass for it. I'm pretty sure that if it had been massively advertised and shown in theaters it would be well-respected by the people who hate it.
>Tfw you'll never roadtrip with Sophia in a post-apocalyptic Earth and eventually prove your worth to have sex with her
>>14964199
It meanders a lot and doesn't really have much of a point to it all . Its an atmospheric piece really and not really something you should indulge with hopes of a satisfying narrative with memorable characters and plot much like most OVAs back then. They did it because they had the money and resources to do it not so much to sell the product.
>>14964199
I've seen it but I forgot what it was about.
>>14969331
Dude, why did you watch it on youtube and not download it off Bakabt? Doing a disservice to one of my favorite anime movies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On5ssssto3k
I noticed Sophia looks vary warm in this scene, unlike her usual cold calm and smug attitude.
>>14972105
She still looks pretty smug to me.
>>14972889
Do you think her plan was to get human dick all along?
More like An Ass wind named Amnesia.
>>14973414
What would sex with Sophie be like?
>In before "Out of this world"
>>14973442
it would be like your first time because you wouldn't remember any other fuck you've had before her.
But then again, she'd probably be real tight, and silky-smooth.
>>14964199
I watched that more than 20 years ago and all I can remember are mutant cars and cripple sex. Had to dig up to find the name a few years ago, still on backlog.
>>14969845
not to digress but sauce on this? I know Ive seen it before and it is driving me up a wall. Something about adventurers in a mausoleum
>>14975215

>>14976645

For some reason, anime base in his works seems to ofen have great art
>>14977702

>I think that's the heroine from Invader Summer.
What's Invader Summer about ?
Was Sophia a good girl or a bad girl?
>>14977911
>"invader summer" is about a small town that is nearing the summer when a beautiful young girl steps into town causing almost all the boys to fall in love with her. weird things begin to happen as katagiri (a genius kendo student) befriends the girl and attempts to find out the truth of the odd summer.
>>14979674
She's an ayylmao too, right?
What if Sophia was also there? would she be jealous?
>>14979474
She's neutral but more on the side of the good I think.
IMPORTANT QUESTION:
Does Sophia poop or pee like normal girls?
>>14979717
>>14979674
Probably from the same planet too.
In hindsight it's pretty impressive how close to a chivalric romance that movie was.
In fact it's much closer to a chivalric romance than to a normal road movie.
It hits all the same beats: you got your knight errant who's very naive and unquestioning but more badass than regular schmucks and rides around to right some wrongs and help the helpless, you got the crippled mentor who raised him away from the rest of the world and taught him how to fight, you got the supernatural fairy princess who sends him on a mission from God, you got a bunch of damsels in distress, you got an evil knight who comes around every few days to fuck with the hero, you even got a magical castle populated by ghosts, and a few devil-worshippers.
In the end it doesn't matter if there's no message, it's a nice story.
>>14964199
I just saw this movie on youtube(someone uploaded it and it is probably down now)
I thought it was pretty good and since I saw Big Wars before this is a fucking masterpiece!!
>>14980439
>In the end it doesn't matter if there's no message, it's a nice story.
As a plotfag that's exactly why I watch anime, it tells stories you don't often get from (Western) movies and TV shows. And anime doesn't need a 200 million dollar budget (like Avatar).
When everyone was going on about Harry Potter years back all I thought was "Junii Kokuki is what those kids should read".

comfy ayylmao
