That said, I think it's within reasonable scope to expect actual FA models within the series as static cameos. Of course, whether that will actually come to pass or not depends on the advertising direction the series will end up going; if it's going to be all about the FA Girls, then you can forget those cameos too.

Yeah, but Unicorn was well-anticipated since its LN days, was an example of a high-quality (for its time) production using a well-known brand name, and it had the backing of a base of UC fans, not to mention drawing in a huge crowd of newcomers. How well-known is Frame Arms in comparison that would allow them to use the original concepts?

Came out in the bubble years of BD's where a good chunk of anime fans are reasonably certain Bandai and Sony were padding their BD sales by as much as 300%. Not saying that's what happened but both Bandai and Sony were heavily involved in producing it. Gundam The Origins 60K or so average feels much more down to Earth and likely in any case.
