I think it's the fact the show is focusing more on the story now rather than spending so much time trying to make Tekkadan come across as likable. It's allowing their actions to speak for themselves.

Ultimately, I think what's going right is that they actually have something to work with. The problem with S1 is that they had this really compelling start, and then pissed it all away with bullshit Tekkadan stuff while they set up the Gjallarhorn angle. The Brewers, and Teiwaz in general, was a ponderous set of episodes. A lot of stuff "happened," but it felt like fuck all was happening while that went on. Nothing on the Tekkadan side was set up in any major detail; I mean, who in Tekkadan are the complex characters? Orga, Biscuit, the engineer, and Eugene. Mika shows the appearance of being complex, but it's hidden under his general flatness. The other characters are all relatively flat, with some being caricatures like Ride.

Also, there's way less Kudelia sugoi. Honestly, I think we, somehow, underestimated just how awful all that fake praise of her was. Like, we knew it was shit and complained, but I don't think we comprehended just how much it dragged down the rest of the show.

he has yet to actually make the decision to accept Mcgillis's offer until after he talks with Naze, but now he already feels guilty that he's making it harder to give Mika a place for him to belong to, so i reckon it's probable he may say no next episode to it. Mika being releived that Takaki found his place may make Orga realize there are other ways to find their place without all the power.

If that were to happen, then i think that Jalsey (Teiwaz Douche) takes actions to undermine and threaten Tekkadan, and reminds Orga that he wanted the power so that his family will no longer be used, manipulated or threatened by other people which makes him more likely to accept and become more powerful than Teiwaz since Jalsey being the right hand man of the group proves Teiwaz is not reliable anymore.

Personally, while all things point to an eventual Screw up by Orga, i'm hoping that if Tekkadan does recieve all that power from Mcgillis, they quickly pass it on to Kudelia since she is someone they can trust with it, making her Queen of mars and Tekkadan her 'Knights' as the Dort workers said they were.

Must admit, when I first started watching the series, I didn't care much for Gali, but he grew on me, and by ep25, the showdown between him and Mcgillis had me rooting for him and I really hope he gets to do something ultimately worth while.

I also couldn't stand the Kimaris in its standard set up, but Kimaris Trooper is excellent.

Been out of gunpla for a while, last one I builtt was the Exia MG kit, what are the chances of Barbatos getting a MG kit, or heck even a Perfect Grade, if they are still a thing.

With all the Gundams using the same frame it'd be so easy for them to release multiple kits or parts kits etc surely, easy money there i'd imagine.

She's already lost her onii-sama once and will probably lose her beloved future husband as well at season's end. Chances are that said husband will have been killed by her actually-not-dead onii-sama who is now a faceless half-cyborg and/or mutant revenge machine.

Barbatos will not get an MG, the IBO 1/100 line is way too strong sales-wise. I'm pretty sure they're retconning the No Grade 1/100 IBO kits into their new Full Mechanics line anyway - we'll still get 2-3 MGs a year but I half expect the next Gundam series will have conspicuously frame-friendly mech designs so they can carry on with the current trend of framed HGs and 1/100s.

PG isn't off the table, especially since the Lupus has been selling like crazy. I can't even begin to think how fragile the waist will be though.

McGillis makes Tekkadan the bad guys Gjallarhorn has to take out after Rustal is defeated. Least, that's what I would do in order to wrap up a loose end as well as restore Gjallarhorn's rep following the conflict. Tekkadan are mercenaries who may try to establish themselves as kings, the Rustal campaign will result in the deaths of many (what are essentially) cops, plus McGillis knows about their ties to the mob. Hell, Tekkadan killed a public figure and McGillis covered it up.

It's a basic yakuza movie at this point and McGillis is the dirty cop who plays various factions against each other for his own benefit. Tekkadan are just the young guys who want to rise through the ranks but their ambition bites them in the ass in the long run..

I'm pretty sure Shino named it without having a clue that it could be a reference to a legendary sword. Ryusei means meteor or sometimes shooting star, so my guess is that Shino is a bit of a romantic so that's why he likes that name.
