Everyone seems to hate how Hime ends.

Personally I thought it was fine.
Magical battle royale still feels like an underexplored premise.

I enjoyed Hime. I found Otome to be pretty dull and uninteresting, though.

Manga Otome features a fucking trap as the main protagonist, and it just gets better from there.

Arashi is even better because it actually featured competent love interest.

Shame the authors' other works weren't so great (Seikon no Qwaser, Vita Sexualis). Who knows, maybe Shinju no Nectar might be good again.
