Season two has really picked up when it comes to actual choreography. The quality is still all over the place though.

S2 really picked up the pace compared to S1, take it for better or worse.

It's a shared opinion. S2, until now, it was a step forward. The Pirate battle and Guts pincer especially.

Accepted, that the "quality" will not cease, at level of story, at last, it's becoming something with a sense. In fact, with these various episodic missions and a unique main story developed in parallel, the S2 is proving to be all that the S1 was not .

S1 consisted of 2~ decent fights, Episode 7 vs Turbines and the final one between Not-a-Char and Not-a-Garma. pixie point for episode 13's opening fight.

Overall, most of S1's fights consists of build ups, cliffhanger ending episodes with an AWESOME HIGHDETAILED POSED MOBILE SUIT to return to terrible quality and highquality single frames.

Gusion is awesome but doesnt really do alot of awesome things.

S2 has had actual decently animated and well choreographed fights, QUALITY is still there (Land rodi bouncing off a tree comes to mind) but overall S2 has really improved the action from a 2/10 to a solid 6/10. the OST is great aswell.

Pincers are awesome now

This scene was really kind of off, to me. I mean, we know that Mika get out of control, into a rage, when someone he likes or a friend are put in danger or hurt, and in this episode he watched as Chocochar killed Aston, his tekkadan comrade.

I know that Orga ordered Mika to not harm Chocochar, but interac with him normally, after he killed a tekkadan member, is too off.

What's more, since Takaki survived, he could of admitted that Mcgillis asked them about who was ordering them as trying to calm down the situation.

I remember Mika saying his first katana was hard to use and that he was getting used to it battling Gusion. During his battle with Ein he said he finally was starting to get the hang of it. So giving Mika 2 swords would cause him to re develop his fighting style all over again from bashing with large maces to precise strikes with a sword.

Would give him 'some' form of development at least.

If it does belong to Mcgillis though, i wonder what'll happen to his red MS? it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves.

Also, i wonder where Bael has been kept this whole time. If Mcgillis already had it, it would make sense that he uses it when being Montag but since he hasn't it can be assumed Bael is missing or with someone else?

Besides the masked man clearly being Gaelio, the fact that Vidar is a Gundam at all, and not an Ars Goetia demon, is all the proof we need. The twin-reactor designs are limited to the gundam frames, and one argument for that is because getting the reactors to synchronize is not an easy feat. Vidar is, ultimately, less different from the Kimaris than the Rebake is from the Gusion; the suit is also loaded with Kimaris-esque features like the various thrusters and skirt armor. Arguably, the exposed thrusters on either sides of the legs are also a nod to Gaelio's Schwalbe Graze.
