I want to say SEED, cause I wouldn't touch it with a pole vault pole from the looks of it. But I kind of want to cause I feel the need to watch every Gundam and sort of to be entitled to say it sucks and not just dread it like I do now.

That was basically me for the last 2 years. I'd watched everything but SEED, and I swore I would never watch it.
But eventually I felt like I had to so I watched it a month or two ago. It wasn't as horrible as I Was expecting, but I didn't exactly enjoy it either. Now to wait another few years before I force myself to watch Destiny.

You shouldn't let someone's opinion stop you from watching stuff.

All the the divisive stuff is worth checking out on the sheer principle that it causes such arguments.

I'm not going to ask you to watch every single show out there, since it'd be impossible to expect you to enjoy every single one, but the least you can do is make an attempt to step out of your comfort zone and see things for yourself.

So, stop treating shows like GGG, Gurren Lagann, SEED, or Evangelion like some sort of boogeyman and just watch it.

Keep on watching. First time around, I quit during the first half of first episode as well, but there's a really solid and well-made mecha series with lots of good character moments underneath all the T&A.

Shou is absolutely deplorable and should've become an hero much earlier on though. His passive-aggressive attitude almost ruined his marriage and kept Ana from embracing her love for punching giant monsters with giant robot fists.
