This would be the strongest, since it can assimilate any weapon used against it and to destroy the MS and kill the pilot you would need to find a way to instantly destroy a planetoid, that is already immune to colony laser style beams, otherwise there is no real way to defeat a assimilation monster like this

You shouldn't, there's some gross exaggeration in there. You don't need to be able to find a way to instantly destroy a planetoid that is immune to colony lasers for one, since the ELS planetoid wasn't immune, just highly resistant and it's also not the ELS [Q]ant and not connected to it by any means so unless you're counting two separate things as one, you wouldn't have to deal with it at all. Not to sat the ELS [Q]ant wouldn't be tough, but normal ELS got destroyed with no perceptible issue by beam rifles, so acting like they're all as tough as the planetoid is idiotic. I'm pretty sure they can't penetrate beam shields either, though I'd have to double check the movie for that one so don't take it as read.

So killing him would be the same as killing any of the innovade, futile since all that happens when any innovade is linked to Veda is that they are sent back to it for evaluation, Tieria even said that he just sealed Ribbons to the butt end of Veda when he died

Also it tanked a second shot of the Memento Mori by instantly changing its structural make up and did the same for the kilometers long sword Setsuna used in it, the only way they found to hurt it was to detonate something from the inside of the outer structure and even then it was already regenerating at an alarming speed, the ELS aren't invencible but you'd need overwhemling power to deal with them and gundams don't have that, you'd need to look at macross to deal with something like this

You mean besides the fact that he's not an ELS but a hybrid life form and there's no indication the human mind they bond to becomes part of the ELS hivemind? Or even that the bonded ELS isn't separated from the hivemind by the process? It probably isn't, but the human mind probably doesn't become an eternal part f the hivemind either.

Or that defeating the ELS [Q]ant doesn't entail killing the pilot, including a remote copy f their mind if it exists, but just defeating the actual suit.

Well, they're not mini black holes for a start. So no, not really. They're i-field powered missiles that destroy without an explosion. There's nothing to indicate they can destroy any material ever regardless of density the way people act, and Bellri's line cam be read to indicate they were or weren't at full power because of it's vagueness. And if their single use is them at full power then no, they're also not all that impressive. Cool no doubt, but not the revolution people try to paint them as. The omni-directional laser and clone G-Self EMT thing are more impressive.

That's not the explanation I saw a year or so back, but is apparently a better translation of it and/or from a newer source so that's fine. Low temperature annihilation by anti-matter contained in an i-field still isn't a black hole however. Or capable of annihilating anything.

Even if that's true, it still runs on batteries regardless, so it has a rather limited energy by design. I'm pretty sure there's a a scene with it's batteries being swapped out on the show even. And if I recall there's some estimation on how long the batteries last by staff too.
