It's cool how this is more based around Ishikawa's original concept for Getter, in that they were three separate robots. This came out only a few years after Go, so you can really see he wanted to do more with the WWII+Getter theme.

Fun read. There's some Getter vibes but that's to be expected if it's Ishikawa writing another Mecha series. Feels like it's own thing though, and I'm sure it will deviate further as we go past chapter one. Only thing I find distractingly similar is that the MC looks almost exactly like Takuma, though this predates Arc by several years, and the carrier looks like Stilva's jet form.

The WW2 theme makes it interesting since it's almost like a future period piece, and I'm always a fan of Ishikawa's take on philosophy and sociology. I also think this proves once again that Ishikawa designs some cool looking machinery. Thanks for the dump, can't wait for more.

Dunno if you planned it but despite the shitposters this thread/dump was a nice little send up to Ishikawa since you posted it on the 10 year anniversary of his death.

To me he looks more like Takuma. His jaw is sharper than Go's ground monkey face, he has the Nagare sideburns which Go doesn't have, his eyebrows wrap around his eyes like Takuma where as Go they usually are tangential, and he's drawn more stout which fits Takuma where as Go was a bit more lanky and built like an Olympic athlete. It's my opinion he looks more like Takuma, no need to sperg out like that.
