I preferred normal Elchi personally and though the brainwashed enemy Elchi was kind of boring. I liked that Elchi didn't really care for violence and admired the culture of the Silent, actually sticking to her philosophy even when it was hard - like not wanting revenge when her father was killed. I think that made her pretty unique and likable since while she wasn't really against violence, she didn't want to use it as a solution in a lot of cases.

I second this. Elchi is best as normal Elchi. Watching her kick ass whilst still being snooty or else just holding her own opinions on things was nice, as well as watching her and Rag butt heads in the Jironbowl.

As an enemy she was only really fun in looks and how one-tracked she is. She just hated everyone who wasn't on the side of the Innocent, but otherwise she was deadly serious and no-nonsense. It might just be my memory, but funny scenes involving her while brainwashed were usually revolving around her rather than involving her input. Stuff like her breaking FUCKING CHAINS was pretty great though.
