Zeon designs were supposed to have the external body built first, then the internal parts built to accommodate the design of the suit. Feddie designs are the other way around, with the armor being designed around the internal body. It's why Feddie suits like the GM are so simple and why Zeek suits are a lot more detailed in comparison.
