Pretty much every single mini boss in Sonic 3&K I love. Along with the kickass miniboss themes in both games, they all feel very clumsy and strange whilst still seeming distinctly mechanical.

I also really like Blastoid and Blaster, the stag-beetle like robots from Hydrocity and Flying Battery, respectively.

These three are my go-to examples for favourite Eggman creations. But I also have a soft spot for Mecha Sonic from S3&K. It's a little spindly, but there's something in how distinctly mechanical it looks that makes me love it. Also it was a pretty rad final boss for Knux's route.

As for stuff he pilots, Big Arm is a personal favourite. It's a simple design, but makes for a great boss fight.

Metal Sonic is one of my favorite designs in mecha history, honestly. He's so damn sleek but so simple and his hinged joints make him really believable compared to other mecha.

Sonic 06 was the last game with a playable character who wasn't Sonic, which means Knuckles hasn't shown up for like, ten years. Mania is the first game where he's actually playable again.

Amy shows up in side material like Boom too, but everything from between 1999 and 2006 is gone for good.
