What's /m/'s take on the new Bat-Scuttler?

It's rather sad I'm more excited about this than I have been about any Batman movie in years. Return of the Caped Crusaders and this make for a good duo of comedy films.

Fixed that for you. But yeah, some levity is definitely needed after several serious films that tried too hard, even if Lego Batman is so gimmicky that it makes Batman & Robin look subtle.

WHAT THE FUCK

LEGO IS ACTUALLY CHEAPER NOW THAN IT WAS BACK IN THE GOOD OL' DAYS IF YOU ADJUST FOR INFLATION
>>14907240
I'm not even really seeing how it's gimmicky to be honest, since being toyetic is built in to the very fabric of the idea and making Lego Batman a character in the first place was just a bit of silly fun on the part of creators. Will Arnott sounds like he's having a blast in the role too.

A fair point there. Plus this Lego film isn't crossover-heavy like the other DC Lego ones, so easier for fans to get into.

He and Diedrich Bader are some of the most surprisingly good Batman VAs in a long time

Surprisingly that's one of my favourite bat-bots.
Well, Proto-bot was sweet but he was an autonomous robot and not a powersuit/etc.

Looks like something from the old and super obscure Robotix cartoon.

Needs a straight-up dinosaur head.

...Has there ever really be a BAD Batman VA though?

A genuinely bad one? Not that I recall. Even from the '60s through the '80s TV shows that seem campy today were of their era and pretty decent for what you'd expect from a kids' cartoon show of the time.

Yeah, at worse they're just mediocre, like the guy who did "The Batman."

EVERYTHING IS BATMAN
EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE BATMAN

I would rather have them call it the BatBat

I think Joker should hit its weak spot for massive damage.
