I feel like Iain M. Bank's Culture series would be much more suited to an anime or LN adaption. Grand scale, fantastic settings and characters, ridiculously powerful weapons, and Minds could be represented by cute anime girl avatars like in Arpeggio of Blue Steel

Bionicle 2001/2002 would be pretty cool, like you could adapt MNOG and the Bohrok shorts into like two 50 minute long episodes.
Also keep the original MNOG soundtrack, because that shit's still good despite the sound quality aging horribly.
