Just finished up War in the Pocket, is there any series where Zeon is portrayed as the heroes or gets to win out in the end? I've only seen 79, Zeta , ZZ and now War in the Pocket, but it seems like they go out of their way to humanize or portray the villains as nice guys, or show them mourning their comrades, yet they also get blown the fuck out or is War in the Pocket the closest it gets? Cause that OVA started out great and then the Kampfer ended up super disappointing and then the ending happened.
A gundam series where Zeon wins is behind the 'Break glass in case of impending bankruptcy' wall at Bandai.
The closest you'll get to Zeon 'winning' is MS IGLOO. Not the 2nd series, that's just a straight up standard feddie circle jerk.

Gihren's greed/ambition have cutscenes with zeeks winning.

They're video games for hardcore fans. Anime is for a wider audience and draws in a lot more revenue.
>"We're willing to nuke a colony to stop the development of one machine, innocents be damned."
>Nice guys
Yes, Zeon is a swell bunch.

To be fair, the original Gundam had already drastically affected the outcome of the war. One machine made a major difference.

You're forgetting about Jaburo being EF's HQ. One blow could decapitate the whole army

To be fair, I don't think the colony drop itself is that evil, especially since Jaburo is isolated from civilian cities (Sydney was not an intended target, so that was just a tragic accident) but the fact that they killed off the people in the colony rather then have them vacate is pretty evil.
