The whole project is born only to publicize a phone game. Sunrise has never really thought to give us a second season. Moreover, even with advertising Sunrise has not exploited it.

Well, it suck a bit that Bizon become this kind of villan. If he had became a Char with hisown agenda, or an honorable enemy who although hating Aoba, but does not lower to certain idiocies, would be better. Establish an empire only on butthurt is really something so tragic-comic, which I could not help but applaud when they BTFO him for the second time.

In retrospect, however, they sabotage the character for close the story more easily.

No the MJP manga was a tie-in. The anime was conceived before the manga was published and has been in production for four years before broadcast. Hence the manga is side story to the main storyline of the anime. This why we see the anime Team Rabbits in the manga twice in the press conference with the manga Team Rabbits watching and the demonstration in anime seen from the audience side. Manga Izuru had his cameo during the Klein attack to the academy.

Manga Team Rabbit is different from the Anime Team Rabbits as they do not have a Asagi in their but he does exist and they are a different control group given they weren't memory wiped.

Hina save Aoba with the Luxion (fist loop) and Aoba reaches the future inside that mecha. Hina is missing. She has not become a child, she has just lost her memory because of some time jump stress and ended up in some part of Zogilia where she is enrolled herself in the army ,in a mirror way to Aoba.

The rest of the story is the same. This also serves to justify the Hina escape. If she has lived all her life as a soldier of Zogilia, drop everything for unclear reasons is not credibie.

Still a very nice show with excellent visual. I love their air battles.

Actually, the Mobage expands Fromm's backstory. He was an orphan at the orphanage that Wilheim Hann began his experimentation on in Zogilia when he first sought refuge from the federation. Lives were lost from said experimentation and Fromm made it a personal goal to end Hann, going as far as faking papers to seek refuge in the Federation to join the armed forces and qualify as a Coupling PIlot, linking to his and Dio's shared past.
