If it's going with a military edge, it may actually be set in the interim years of a Gundam fight while the current ruling nation leads the Earth and its colonies to deal with terrorist threats. Colonies had their own armies, after all.

There's literally thousands of years you could cover on both Earth and Space. G Reco's post-U.C. setting is wonderful and just begs to be expanded on.

On a similar note as the Grimoire, it was mentioned multiple times that the Neodo has been in service for thousands of years. Oh, god, can you imagine how many variants this thing must have?

Another fiefdom of Ameria, another Mountain Cycle, new unearthed Mobile Suits, new Moonrace Mobile Suits, new Dark History Mobile Suits from Universal Century, but also Cosmic Era/Anno Domini/Advanced Generation/Post Disaster/Super Deformed, maybe even a new headlining Turn Unit, like a Turn E.

In terms of plot, we'd see another beautiful pastoral community isolated far from the turmoil in Inglessa and Luzianna, but gearing up for possible conflict after news reports flood in and independent radio contact with the Moonrace is established. Excavate Mountain Cycles, study the unearthed tech, train pilots and stage mock battles. Maybe a few intra-Amerian conflicts thanks to the new weapons. Later, this region is one stage of Gym's continent-wide invasion, and the community must put everything they've learned to use.
