Bubuki threads barely exist either. /a/ has been better for discussing mecha for a year or two at this point. There's the occasional good thread drowned in dozens of shitposting for the sake of shitposting threads.

Yeah. This if anything has been a huge surprise to me. When the first season was airing I almost imagined that the show would unite old /m/. It just has that classic feeling to it, all while being a really stellar show on its own.
But that didn't happen at all. That's kind of dull to be honest, my faith in /m/ was lowered even more at that point. I still like /m/, of course. But I expected better.
