If a katana can slice apart the joints of a mobile suit, a rapier could presumably be expected to slide into the seams of the armor, bypassing nanolaminate to fuck up internals.

And then you snap the blade off and load a new one in like a razor cartridge.

Sharps don't do well against hardened armors but if you slide in between the seams who cares how well armored the target is, you're ignoring their defenses!

Since when? The last episode was just him stalling mika. He only had an edge during his first appearance with the Kimaris in space because of his zooming around gimmick. He lost every battle after that and would've been dead if it weren't for Ein taking the death blow. He never showed any kind of skill unlike Macky who managed to hit Barbatos in a Graze.

That's the thing, Mika was trying his dammest to get by the Kimaris and save Orga and Kudelia, but Gaelio was still holding his own.

One can hope now that Gaelio is probably sporting a vagina he can actually step up to the plate this time.
