Not, the particular mecha, just the type.
Powerarmor master race here
>>14868167
anything that are not tank
i'll take that shitty chicken walker from western fiction but at least it's not a tank
power armor also cool
I just want a fucking gun, firing 5.56, 7.62x39 or 5.45.
None of that fancy mecha shit.

Gattai Super Robots
>>14868167
Old timey robits
>>14868167
Real robots that are three to four meters tall.
>>14868293
What is the appeal of old-timey robots? I've only just started appreciating them recently after watching tetsujin 28. What am I in for?
>>14868167
When they look organic in some way or fashion.
>>14868167
I like powersuits. Especially when they offer more than the standard loadout of strength/speed/flight.
>>14868167
Everything_Fun_type elder god race
Semi-mystical god mecha
I've recently started to really appreciate slip n' slide mechs.
Currently thinking of playing MGS5 just for D-Walker.
>>14868176
Lanky robots like an EVA or Shin Getter 2 for me since I'm built like that.
>>14868176
Is that a Killer Queen pose?
>>14868180
Mazingolfer for you then?
It's a gun in a golf cart.
Sentient, non-talking and either AI or remote-controlled types.
The Tetsujin 28/Giant Robo archetype basically, which is sadly pretty damn rare
>>14868768
Have you seen Steam Detectives? It's also one of those.
>>14868772
Yup, going through the Manga slowly, wish the extra chapters or whatever was translated somehow
I LIKE HEABY DANKS =-DDDDD
Generally into the 18-meter height range of suits. Mostly into high mobility suits with a fat ass. Dom variants, the Asshimar. And even though real robot isn't much of a thing, I do really like little utilitarian features on a mech. Grunt types with field modifications, or the RX-78GP03 (Uraki's upgrade in 0083's) hidden loader arms.

Anything spider based.
Spider Robots, spider tanks, spider vehicles, spider drones, and of course female spider transformers
>>14868768
Have you seen Gad Guard? I can't say its a masterpiece or something, its one of those an average obscure series, but it perfetly fits your description
>>14868167
Fantasy mecha, with a "knight wearing full plate armor" type aesthetic
or alternatively
Mecha that resemble a living being, with an endoskeleton, muscles/organs and "blood", despite still being machines
Big fat fire support (or an approximation thereof). Bonus points if it can hover around.
Take a knight. Make him big with some exposed mechanics on the joints and the neck.
bam
>>14868365
good times
>>14868167
Macross-type cause it's a freaking plane.
>>14868981
>Have you seen Gad Guard?
Not yet but it's on the list
>>14868599
That game was mint my dude. Gonna go replay that shit now.
>>14868167
Anything that allows it to punch or kick. Powersuit, Robot, Cyborg parts, doesn't matter, as long as it can PUNCH. Double points if the design incorporates punching into it despite having a vast array of weapons to choose from.
>>14868167
I don't particularly care about the specific type of mecha if the design fits the specific style a series is going for.
Votoms / Heavy Gear mechs
pic unrelated
Mecha centered around FUCK YOU levels of hard science / super science. Especially if it is reflected in the mecha's design, I don't care if the result is goofy.
>>14868167
I like transforming mecha. It's just a cool concept, to be able to go from mecha to veichle and back whenever it's needed.
