Outfit looks out of character, proportions are weird, face shape is wrong, eyes are wrong, hair is wrong, body language is wrong.
It doesn't look like Kai at all.

Come to think of it, at second glance it does seem more like a different character altogether; which is weird considering Yas drew Kai in the Origin manga actually pretty damn close despite some still slight noticeable changes (though not as radical as those seen in the OVA design). Then again, in the case of the OVA he's not alone in designing the characters.
