While it is technically an IBO Mobile Suit, and IBO kits have been selling better than G Reco and AGE kits... it's also a video game exclusive MS.

Last time we had a video game exclusive Gundam get a kit, we got the Extreme Gundam. It didn't sell well, iirc.

Well, IBO is the new thing, and if they go through the trouble of molding a new frame since it doesn't look like the Barbatos frame, they probably will design one or two gundams just to milk it.
