No one hate IBO. S1 was just boring without too many features, but nothing really bad.
S2 has started good, at last for now.

I think there was more action in this episode than the entirety of S1.

I'll have to time it later.

This episode also had a pretty nice minr detail with it taking much longer to perform maintenance on the gusion due to th gundams special snowflake status. It just made me think how god awful it must have been being a zeon/titans engineer and having to learn the mechanics of each and every new mobile suit they pumped out week after week.

Frankly this has been much, much better than S1. I like the issues it is toying with (Human Debris, Tekkadan kinda fucked everything up, political issues), music is on point, and I'm digging a lot of the designs.

S1 had the crime of "literally fucking nothing happening" but so far. pace has been a lot better.

I watched it all the way through and got some enjoyment from it, but the truth is S1 really is just bland. That's it. It's run of the mill, got what we paid for, nothing special and not much flash. Three episodes into S2 and we've gotten as much action as the entire first cour. Probably more. IF that continues, IBO S2 might be worth something. If the same happens again and a promising start erodes into fucking nothing for 20 episodes then yes this will shape up to be a forgettable, optional Gundam AU that didn't warrant the effort spent posting about it after it's all said and done.
