Bring back the "realism".
Start with new Gundam with Okawara or Katokie-like designs, I'm not sure. The story should be written with the assistance of those who haven't lost the common sense: the military and historical consultants should be helping the scriptwriter to build the universe.
Then the remakes of the un-blu-rayable classics should be produced - Dougram and Votoms. They should be made as the complete copies of the original, but with better visuals and new voices/music (depends on the quality of the latter). Dougram episode length can be extended, so we could fit more events in a single episode.
VOTOMS might be untouched - same designs, voices, music, just improved visual side.

All that can be achieved only through complete independence from the show business and toy market investors.

I feel like at some point it would turn out like an odd mix of turn a and victory. Mecha should use artificial muscles to obscure joints thus allowing them to be as curvy as mecha in gunparade march/zoe just very gundam feeling.
