I got "into" Gundam series thanks to Gundam Seed Destiny, that I liked a LOT more than Gundam Seed. Although that's probably because I saw Destiny first and the first you see always is special.

But to be honest the only Gundam I really enjoyed since then was Build Fighters. Aside of that I moderately enyojed Gundam X, Orphans and 00 (didn't watch the movie).

I pretty much dropped every other gundam show I tried including 08th team, Turn A gundam, G, Wing (dropped this one twice), Unicorn, Thunderbolt, Age, and some other I don't even remember.

So, basically the only Gundam I really liked were Seed Destiny and Build Fighters

I've watched nearly every Gundam series ever, and all of them were absolutely terrible. Looking back I'm not sure how I managed such a feat.

The absolute worst of the bunch had to be Zeta though. What a pathetic series.

my favorite shows from the past 5 years is not even mecha show.

sometimes i skim watching just for the robot fight scenes.

Turn A was disappointingly mediocre
I loved G-Reco and pretty much every other happy Tomino show.
I liked Combattler V more than Voltes V
I can't see any Gundam being better than GBF.
Macross sucks. DYRL was okay though.

As of right now, Overman King Gainer is still my favorite /m/ anime.

I think votoms is a cool show, but there are a lot of parts that make me scratch my head a little. Like in episode 5 where Chirico is invited to a battling match that is an obvious trap by the police. Why did he accept that? Did he somehow know that one of the battlers sent to kill him would have information?

I didn't quite hate it myself, but I found it boring. I've tried watching it three times and I've never been able to finish it.
I know I liked 2040 back when it was new-ish, but I barely remember any of it now.

I like G-Reco despite the flaws, but I find the people who dismiss every criticism pretending is some sort of a next level intellectual show and Tomino is making a point about paying attention watching a show or some bullshit about not spoonfeeding the viewer absolutely delusional and no better than an Evangelion fan telling the people who dislike the show that "they didn't understand it."

You can see it with the K-On fanbase that say it's a subtle art piece with amazing character development that you can only notice on rewatches. Also known as delusional people.

I really enjoyed Gundam AGE except for the third arc and the AGE-1 is one of my favorite gundams.

I really enjoy IBO and don't think the pacing or animation is that much worse than most Gundams, especially AUs.

I like the 0079 movies a lot more than the series and would recommend the movies anyday.

I think most custom Gunpla looks boring and uninspired. There's only so many recolors that look like Sanic donut steel OC versions of mobile suits or generic gritty dioramas before I say "this is lame".

Looking for symbolism in Eva is stupid. I watched it for the first time recently without trying to look into every image as some deep metaphor and I liked it. Take it for what it is and you'll enjoy it more.

I don't like the "power of MUZAK" theme in Macross.

People justifiably rag on Hirai face, but I like the way his characters look when they're crazy or panicking.

I think super robot shows are stupid and have ugly mecha designs.

I also think sentai shows are dumb. Then again, I never liked Power Rangers as a kid, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I found the obsession with "realism" in mechanics kinda silly and I like my mechas, be it real or super robot with a bit of style and life, and if you have tu sacrifice the "m-muh practical design", so be it
