Turn a is really boring. Ibo is boring becausie of shit pacing, but turn a's overall execution is about subjects i dont care about, so it was a massive pain to get through. I was bored every week hoping for something to happen in ibo. I was bored every week in turn a over their random shit they were doing that was partially contributing to the overall story.

I would argue it's mostly novelty. It came along at a time when Gundam was basically putting out a new show every single year. Basically in the 90s Gundam was to anime what CoD is to modern video games. You got a new one every year that was ok but not great and you just kind of watched it because it was there. While obviously Turn A can be very divisive because it is so different that's also the reason people are so fond of it. In the same way that people are hyped for Battlefield one because it's finally something that isn't a future or near future FPS people like and liked Turn A because it was different than the constant stream on samey Gundam shows they were getting. Also degenerates like that the MC is a trap.

When MOON played for the first time, I thought "wow, this is really going to be something special."
