I never understood this mentality.

Even if the current entry in a franchise doesn't appeal to me, something down the line eventually will.

I don't like IBO, but I'm sure a different crew will show up and do something and make something interesting out of it.

Besides, there's enough stuff out there outside of Gundam that it's just too suffocating to limit yourself to just that one franchise.

Any franchise as large as Gundam is going to have bumpy times. I remember I saw some people, not sure if it was here or not tho, complaining that SEED Destiny was the sign that Gundam was doomed to never be good again, you have to wait out the storm to see the sunlight.
