What exactly happened in Rimgarde? What is Shota Ex Machina's plan? And most importantly:how much more obvious do they need to make this reference before Translator-kun realizes that he's failing mythology 101?

Well let's see:
There are three "divine spirits of vengeance," two of which are known to be named Alecto and Tisis (a shortened form of Tisiphone, of course), and who use various incantations which repeatedly make reference to theErinyes.
I mean, it was fairly clear from the moment we heard the name "Alecto", but this last episode made it far more obvious than ever. And they're still romanizing it as "erinius".
