Which /m/-related antagonists did nothing wrong?
Earth Federation forces on Deloyer.
Worked hard to maintain the peace, consisted mostly of Deloyerans, and fought hard against what were quite arguably terrorists.

Crinns dad really did nothing wrong. Earth was fucked without Deloyer, and if it wasn't for Lecoque Deloyer would have a monopoly on those other two planets. Rick just wanted to make things better for deloyerans so that an uprising wouldn't be warranted in the future.
It only failed because earth corporations and soldiers were dickheads and deloyerans didn't wanna co-operate.
Man that scene where Crinns dad dies and they have their last conversation is really fucking sad.

The entire ending is bitter. A cornerstone of Earth's relations dies and he's replaced by fucking Lecoque, and then he's just stringing Carmel along and it all goes to shit.

Lecoques plan worked out for earth didn't it? They still have their corporations there and rights to territory on the planets next to Deloyer.
Dr. Cossack, who wouldn't have done anything if Wily didn't have his daughter as a bargaining chip.

It worked, but I still feel bad.
Lecoque's history of being the smarmiest bastard alive doesn't help either.

It must've been terrible watching his Robot Masters being weaponized and then dying, twice.

Look at this smug fuck. He knows what he's done and he's proud.

Buff clan did literally everything wrong
Literally had the approval and backing of the entire world democratically except for one pissy little island.
They literally had to insert deus ex machinas for him to look bad

Denon always struck me as primarily interested in Earth's welfare, but Lecoque always seemed out for his own glory more than anything else.

That's why I love Lecoque so much as a villian. He doesn't have any super grand plan or misguided ideals. He's just a little guy who wanted to sit in the big guys chair and was willing to string along a few poor shmucks to do it.
>>14819041
Yeah. Guys like him are more akin to sleazebag politicians than anything else, which is why we love to hate em. Lots of FFFFFFFs going on when he felt up Daisy in that one episode.
