So what did you thought about the first episode? I think the show gives quite a nostalgic feeling. The 2 protagonists are cute and it made me smile at least 2 times.
Pretty fun. Cute characters, simple premise, colorful visuals. It seems like a nice show to have in the background while doing some other things.

Will it be subbed?
>>14792213
This one's a toss-up. Unless it gets a couple of dedicated subbers like Yokai Watch did, or Crunchyroll/Funimation steps in, chances are slim. Historically, nearly every Time Bokan series hardly gets subbed, due to heavy use of wordplay humor.
>>14792257
>>14792213
Crunchyroll is subbing it.
>>14792213
>>14792257
You guys are joking right? Crunchyroll is subbing the anime

Oh good then, I hadn't looked. At last, something is going right for this franchise!
What's this show even about? I know basically nothing other than the fact that it reminds me of Yatterman, and I only know about him because he was in TvC
>>14792651
Basically, a time police notices the past history is out of whack, so they send two kids and a robot to fix it while a historical records company tries to keep the present intact.
>>14792673
That sounds like it could be pretty good, I'll check it out, thanks anon.
It's stupid and absurd fun. Just like all the other Time Bokan shows. I love it
I really like the whacky mecha designs. Big Bang Punch gattai attack was great.
I also really like the ending song. It's calm and really enjoyable to listen to.
One of my favourite shows this season so far.

Sasuga Haruyama
>>14793434
You even have Kunio Okawara himself doing mech design again, returning to Time Bokan must be like a breath of fresh air after all that Gundam.

>mfw op nostalgic about pokemans
>mfw i realised pokemans is almost 20 years old
>4chan at high risk of going down in flames shortly after the first episode got subs
Who knew that this show would herald the site's apocalypse?
>>14794788
the ninjas were basically like Lord Genome, and trying to keep the end coming from time bokan subs happening
>>14794668
It also helps that Time Bokan is rehashing a formula it was rehashing in the 80s from the 70s.
>>14794590
>>14799423
Shame we won't get nipple shots of her.
>>14799432
Look on the bright side: she's bouncing all over the place, so it's pretty clear she's a titty monster, while past Doronjo-clones have been more titty by circumstance.
>>14799423
The 70's and 80's series had some nipple shots
>>14800450
Anybody have the screen cap of "if this was the old series we would have shown her from the front"?
>>14800468
The Time Bokan tumblrs (Timebokanturnip and Time-for-Time-Bokan) might have it.
>>14800492
That there's two dedicated Time Bokan tumblrs is always a bit amazing to me.
>>14800468
Which one was it from?
>>14801472
2008 Yatterman series I think. I watched the first episode on Youtube (with REALLY AWFUL subs) and I think I remember watching the scene there.
>>14801472
>>14801500
Surf ripped the better subs from before Anime Sols went under.

The first three episodes of 2008 were also the only ones done by an actual fan sub group before the idiot with Google Translate vomited over everything.
Just watched it. Pretty fun even though a lot of jokes doesn't translate (to me at least).
If I was a child I would be all over this.
This show offers fucking terrible puns, massive tits and pratfalls, it is basically the best late night drunk viewing
>main girl prances around in a leotard with a clear skirt
>main villainess has tits all the way to Sunday
Tatsunoko really knows how to draw people in.

40 years of practice.
>>14803544
>>14803755
The funny thing is, they didn't try doing a lewd Time Bokan heroine until recently.
>>14803769
Ai-chan got pretty lewd sometimes.
>>14804388
On a related note, anyone got that art of her and Doronjo with their clothes swapped?
>>14805436
>>14805622
Thank you.
Back on subject, it's amusing how Bimajo, Suzukky and Tsubuyakky's VAs have reprised their roles of being in a Time Bokan trio since Yoru no Yatterman, so the tradition is preserved in a sense. Also, it seems the head writer did work on Yatterman 2008 eps before this.
>>14792287
This is how that scene happened, right?
>>14792673
a fusion from first Time Bokan and Otasukeman.
>>14803544
Shame that the main villainess not end half-naked. Hope in the next episode.
>>14792182
I want to bury my nose in her butt cheeks and take a whiff.
The first episode was ok... whenever it wasn't dealing with the "true" history. This is my fault for not looking up anything before watching, but the whole true history concept is just awful to me since it goes too far in alterations.
>>14807297
You were hoping for a more Time Squad/Mr Peabody style of "here's the actual historic figure but with WACKY CHARACTER TRAIT" style of doing it? I can understand that, and the show will no doubt do it that way with some too.
>>14807297
In fairness, it's the typical Otasukeman plot (>>14807052), but in reverse: in that show, the villains tried to alter history to match what was in their boss' bogus history book. Here, what we think is actual history is actually supposed to be completely absurd.
That being said, I wonder what cultural references/parodies will crop up in this one.
>>14807288
>yawn, kinda cute
>>14809686
>10/10 best girl (male)
