Go-Onger's problem was that it tried to be anime. Ninninger's was that it tried to be serious half the time, if it was a full-out comedy I think it would have been great. It was the tongue-in-cheek nature and gentle self-depreciation that made Carranger great.
I think sentai's evolved enough that there are plenty of new tropes to play around with too, so it would be nice to see a show maybe around 2020 playing with 00s-10s tropes.

I know we haven't seen a lot of it, but I get the feeling Bunglay's ship transforms too. it looks like it could unfold into a mech on it's own. Maybe they're saving that for his final battle.

I'm only three episodes into Abaranger and holy shit I love this fucking show.

It's just a good balance of wackiness with genuinely likeable characters.

I really like Timeranger, but the mecha deployment is getting really obnoxious ten episodes in, they waste like three minutes between Providus sending the Time Jets, and the mecha combination.

Just watched ep 30. This shot was unbelievably cinematic for a Super Sentai series, I loved it so much - it felt almost like Ultraman in its sense of giving scope/scale to the action.

About 11 episodes into GoGoV. Not bad, but not great so far. Fivehead Red and Col. Sanders dad are what I got out of it so far. Was really surprised how much I got into Gingaman, so maybe it's just not living up. Also I really liked Lightspeed Rescue, so maybe a little extra bias.

Man, I fucking love the dances given to Misao with the Crocodile, Wolf and Rhino in Zyuohger.

Zyuohger is definitely a step up from Ninninger, it's fun all around, likable cast and fun premise. The only gripe I have with Zyuohger right now is Bunglay, I hope it pays off soon, because I'm tired of him. Misao, however, is somehow still fresh even with his self-esteem gimmick.

31 episodes in, and I still can't decide whether Sela or Amu is best girl.

While Timeranger is far from perfect, I'm sure I'm gonna end up loving it (right now, I'm at ten episodes in).

I already had a dream about them, in 2016 they return (although the representations of them in the dream looked nowhere near like them, I felt it was them), the team was far from complete since Tatsuya had died previous to 2016 due to reasons I couldn't hear well. I've reached a point where the photographer is shown, and I've remembered the tribute episode from Gokaiger.

I'm gonna be sad once I finish watching it all, and then re-watch Gokaiger for added nostalgia. It's going to hit me like a truck. Timeranger needs a XX Years After.
