With my Crunchyroll account I watched the whole thing.

I had conflicted feelings about the first two but this one really felt like they were trying to actually move something forward in the story. They definitely know how to get an emotional response too just like the old days.

There is this one amazing moment near the end where the kids reunite with their Digimon but they do not know who they are, but of course the humans do. It's a fantastic reversal of how Adventure started

Takeru is too perfect to do anything wrong besides the writers clearly wanted the audience to feel bad about the digimon's memories being deleted, so they probably would have done anything to get the plot to that point. Though honestly the whole infection and reboot thing is so poorly explained at this point it's really hard for me to care.

They probably came back after the end of 02 because the secret of television is that everything goes back to normal.


Plus we actually saw them use Omegamon in Revenge of Diablomon which was after 02, and Angewomon appeared in 02 and Angewomon, HolyAngemon, Seraphimon and Holydramon appeared in that one 02 movie because they wanted them too. There's precedent for it.

What does this do? Is it increased damaged when it uses a chip from that catagory? Does it also increase defense from attacks of that type?

1. There was no physical sign that the reboot had worked. He thought it would reset everything from the digital world to a state before 1999, and the D3 reverting to an older model would've confirmed that, for his peace of mind.
2. Even if they did, there was nothing they could do about it. Most digimon were better off not knowing they would essentially die in a few days.

He probably assumed the back up started from the very beginning of the Digital World, and assuming it worked, the Digivices should have gone back to their original forms, then ceased to be (again, assuming they took the whole "revert time" literally).

Later on we see the back up seems to be at the point the chosen child Digimon are around, and only the regular Divigives should still exist in this period.

Yeah I really like this. We’ve had a billion Omegamon clones over the years but having the protagonist’s further evolutions hearken back to other final forms is pretty different. I’m guessing that he’ll have at least one additional evolution past god grade, so they could either use Fighter Mode for god and Susano’omon for grade five, or Susano’omon for god and Paladin Mode for grade five.

Wouldn’t mind seeing something reminiscent of Shine Greymon Burst / Ruin Mode for Rei’s god, either.
