No, because I don't enjoy G-Reco enough that I'd buy a Blu-Ray of it and I haven't started Getter Robo yet. On a similar note I brought Volume 2 of Tetsujin 28 2004 along with the entirety of Macross Plus just a few days ago.

The Blu ray just has a scaling algorithm and edge enhancement appled, the exact same blocking/compress distortion is visible in both shots.
They are literally the same. If you bought the DVD version from Discotek (assuming there is one), and played it in vlc/on a bd player it'd actually look the same as the blu ray.

The blu-rays do not look better. /m/ went over the Change Getter blu-rays when they ripped years ago and the conclusion is that the blu-ray edition suffers from extremely harsh color loss where tones are nuked into flatness due to the upscaling and sharpening that was done to it. Not to mention all of the very fine details that were lost due to the same reason.

The blu-ray release of Change Getter IS an upscale of the DVD source.
