My journey through the decade continues. 19 episodes finished, and It's pretty enjoyable. The other worlds haven't rubbed me the wrong way like Ryuki and Blade's have, so that's good. I get a good laugh at how Kivala goes from CG to a stiff figurine on a string. Also how Ryotaro and Kotaro just popped up in the conversation out of fucking nowhere at the end of Den-O's world. A few thing's in Kabuto struck me as weird, like the strange omission of "Change Beetle", and how Kaito suddenly forgot his Clock Up/super speed ability.

The point of creating Ganmizer was to create a defend system for Ganma world by copying Great Eye's.

I think even Toei is confused about it. Climax Heroes and Battride treat Garren as the secondary, but Ganbaride says it's Chalice.

It's also slightly harder to pin down one when there are more than two "focus" Riders. Like Gills is as important to Agito as G3, and Todoroki as important as Ibuki, to use the examples shown there.

I consider them both Secondaries. I also consider G3 and Gills to be Agito's secondaries, and Ryugen and Baron to be Gaim's secondaries.

Secondaries either have equal focus in the plot, have a special rival/foil role to the main Rider, or both. So for series that have lots of Riders, it's easier to just have multiple seckndaries rather than quibble about who had thr MOST impact or was the MOST direct foil to the main.

The primary/secondary distinction never made much sense in multiple Rider shows anyway. Yeah, there are some where the distinction is pretty clear, e.g. Kabuto and Gatack, but it gets more ambiguous for others. Like Drive has three "main" Riders, all pretty equally important to the plot. Drive himself is our main/focus character, but that doesn't make Mach and Chaser less important to the overall story.

I think my favorite Ghost fights were the two episodes of Mugen debut, and that one where he parallels his father's fight... so kinda few.
I think the main weakness of Ghost fights is the rigidity of special moves and the unique omes being used only a few times. Everything that's not sword, gun, or kick gets filtered out after it's used a couple times.
