What bothers me about these is thatthey just feel like cash-in attempts and not serious attempts to continue his legacy using authors who were hugely inspired by Getter Robo. Like, for fuck's sake the art style doesn't show the vaguest Ishikawa influence outside of the already existing mech designs.

Also, what I want to know is is Getter-1 some sort of cage for some sort of monster? Its the only form that has teeth, and I know Getter-1 goes berserk at one point.

I didn't even understand the plot of the manga when I found scans for all of it years ago, but the whole thing felt like it was being edgy for the sake of being edgy.

it's not too much, it's basically one scene of a little arc iirc, people in /m/ dumped it like two years ago in fact
basically:
>ryona got lost in a desert, found a mother and a little girl
>time passes and the mother tries to jack him off
>he refuses, but she still does it
>plot twist the daughter was a corpse and the mother was just of the villain who hypnotize him to take his chance and to either making him join forces or kill him

also moesashi in this one has some relevance to the plot, since they rescue her from a temple, and saotome's older son whose name escapes me that always die every time he appears in a getter related thing also dies here while they were rescuing her, and that happened way before they found shota ryoma, that was the last chapter people dump here infact, since then i don't what else happened.
overall shit's pretty nuts, the general gist of the plot is that saotome pulled an armageddon and filled the earth with getter radiation, but this time people didn't have the chance to hide so everyone got fucked, some mutated into invader-like creatures and other have weird shit on their bodies, and the villains got crazy super powers, they work for saotome and they proceed to search for humans and make them follow the professor's/"evolution's" will.
that's atleast what i can remember of the manga
also hayato is 120% more batshit insane (he fucking needs to take pills) here, he almost perfored moesashi with getter 2's drill during a mission while she was still inside the robot
