This show would've been a lot better if the writers knew what the fuck they were doing. The characters are all pretty well-founded and acted, the historical ghost aspect is interesting, I even don't mind the idea of stuff they assumed was supernatural turning out to be crazy ancient science-tech. But the show just hits all those points in the most lazy, poorly-paced manner possible.

I have no problem with misc children's anime getting simulcasts though, otherwise I probably wouldn't have watched Kaitou Joker. If only more of them did.

Wizard at least has some good fights, the only three fights in Ghost I even remember are the first one where some wirefu actually gets used, the Grateful debut for some really blatant CGI and editing failures, and Episode 38 where Ghost rapid rushes through all fifteen Heroic Eyecons and wrecks an Ultima Ganma with them which was actually a really great episode in general

Jesus fucking lord what a boring slog it's been. It's still no Wizard, but Ghost is easily one of the worst post-Decade Riders yet. Its biggest problem is that it had so much potential, but shits itself less than a third of the way in and never manages to clean itself up.

Ghost did get to keep the flashy finisher lightshow, so there's hope those HIT!s don't eat up all the budget.

Man is this like the least hype finale (crossovers excluded) for a KR series? I feel like it is.
