Yes but good luck on hitting the steel beam. It'll talk big and seem scary but it'll probably miss by milimetres even at point-blank.
Each attempt also takes your entire months savings to do and if you get excited prematurely it will bankrupt you and those around you.

Close, but no dice.
Anyone have artwork for thr designs from silent line and last raven?
>>14742176
I think it's important to point out that aside from having the KARASAWA (since there's no reason NOT to use it in-game), The Raven just used standard parts.
He didn't have an enhanced brain like Human PLUS, nor was he using a god machine like a lot of his enemies. It was all pure skill.

>>14753466
There is no single best one that fans of the series will agree upon. Each iteration changes so much. Look up gameplay videos and decide on that.
>>14753466
Just start at 1 and go from there, it's on PSN for $6.
I'm a "snap, panel line, set on shelf" gunpla scrub, how badly would I be butchering the White Glint and AC1 Nineball kits?
>>14753622
On White Glint not so much, but some parts are the wrong color depending on which version's color scheme you're going for. All you really need is black and white paint. Otherwise, just panel lining makes it look less like a blob of white.
>>14753622
9ball has pretty much complete part color seperation, even the emblems are prepainted on

>Who'd win in a fight, AC1 Raven or Mobius 1?
Last Raven Raven would tear both of them apart and keep going.
Hell, considering it took on an army of top tier Ravens, Pulverizers and what was basically a proto-NEXT in one day with no breaks and won it's fair to say he could be a pantshitting nightmare to even most AC4 LYNXshitters, guy is a fucking monster on a AC, imagine giving him a machine with NEXT performance, imagine giving him a Valkyrie.
Are AC4 and and 5 as bad as people say? If so, what makes them bad?
>>14755730
They're different than the last gen of AC that From made. The base mechanics were there but needed polish which came in 4A and VD.
Silent Line beginner here. Took Gimlet down but now I feel absolutely helpless against Mileage. I can't get away from him fast enough (ironically for a "sniper", he's pretty weak at range) and when he does get close, he has both a blade and a get-off-me shoulder gun. I can't not get hit.
The biggest problem though has to be the hitstun. Especially annoying when I'm blading only to stop dead in front of him (and get bladed, of course). And even if I hit him, he's somehow fast enough to use his shoulder gun or blade right back. Not sure if I'm too slow or just the AI.
Also, why is there a delay for left hand guns? There doesn't seem to be any for blades.
>>14756910
Left hand has to raise itself, unlike right which is always up and aiming.
It's a weird quirk of the pre-ambidextrous game design.
>>14756910
>I feel absolutely helpless against Mileage.
That's the mission in the New Fortress with the generators right? What's your build? I play fast lightweight so I can just cheese 7nth with a machinegun/flamethrower so that Carom and I can gang up on Mileage later, his defenses are paperthin, grenade launchers make short work of him.
If you're talking about Arena Carom, well, I don't know, he's low tier and shouldn't be a problem, make a tank with missiles and grenade launchers and watch him burn if you want to cheese him..
>Especially annoying when I'm blading only to stop dead in front of him
You don't blade during frontal attacks dude, you just don't, you blade from the sides or behind, only pros can blade during a frontal charge.
>Also, why is there a delay for left hand guns?
Because.
>>14756983
>>14757025
BUT WHY
At this point I should just use shoulder weapons to supplement my laser rifle. Please tell me this doesn't apply to weapon arms. My future walker/tank can't be this handicapped.

>BUT WHY

>At this point I should just use shoulder weapons to supplement my laser rifle
Only if you're a Tank/Quad,or if you're filthy Plussie scum.
>Please tell me this doesn't apply to weapon arms
Of course not.
>>14757212
Quirk of design. For what it's worth weapon arms don't have this problem and instead have the issue of finite ammo and the inability to eject them meaning they're dead weight after a point.
Old AC is full of unusual quirks like this, you have to learn to deal with it.
Also over the shoulder guns have the issue of requiring that you kneel unless you run a tankleg. Or you grind OP-INTENSIFY back in 3 and carry it over; I'll be honest, Silent Line is a lot of fun with the OP-I perk for letting you use over the shoulder guns without kneeling. Biped with folding grenade launcher is my favorite build pattern, it's a lot of fun to run it against the Big White encounters.
Seriously, Lawdas Factory is a 10/10 experience with OP-I.
>>14757255
Lawdas Factory is a 10/10 experience with OP-I.
It was one without it already tho.
By the way, why is the S rank requirement so strict on that mission? It's one of two I still haven't got, and I've managed runs with no ammo expenditure and less than 1000 AP damage and I've still been slapped with an A rank. What gives?

I mean, it looks pretty, but at the same time it also looks like a mess where you can abrely see what's going on, with the missiles and the primal armour filling half the screen every time it takes a hit, plus the bang shooty SFX are a little excessive.
>>14757255
>Seriously, Lawdas Factory is a 10/10 experience with OP-I.
Nah, the recon mission in the Silent Line with shitloads of respawning MTs and the two ACs showing up if you're in S-Rank performance is by far the greatest mission in SL and one of the greatest AC missions in general, Lawdas Factory is cool because it has great level design, but nothing screams BADASS as taking down hordes of high end MTs alone.

>Have you made your offering to THE CONTROLLER today, mercbois?
This triggers my Karasawa Afendi.
AC1 era quad legs are GOD-TIER
>>14760387
Why AC1 era? They can't even ground boost
How do I beatNine Ballin Nexus? The section before it always takes away at least 1000-2000 AP and it feels way too hard to get a lock onto it since it's flying all over the place.
I'm using a somewhat midweight AC with dual MG and dual Vertical Missiles.
>>14763153
the dual verts probably aren't doing you many favors in that room. Take them off to lighten your load, put on some micro-missiles and missile extension of your choice (Vert and torpedo again, not recommended), and some rockets to take out the turrets before it shows up. Use the left over weight to either make yourself lighter or give yourself more armor.
If it's still giving you trouble, swap out your dual MGs for MG arms. That ought to do it.
>>14763243
Thanks that worked, I guess my dual MGs weren't doing enough damage compared to MG arms. I pretty much used just the MGs to kill it.
Also that ending was pretty grim but that's not surprising in AC.
>>14763153
>How do I beat Nine Ball
Hum its theme and brandish your Karasawa.
>with dual MG and dual Vertical Missiles.
I'd say dith the vertical missiles, Nineball is a bit too fast for those, Micromissiles are marginally better but again, they're not too reliable, dual machineguns should melt it like butter but you have to be good at close distance to not get fucked up by Moonlight and Grenades.
One other thing you can do that requires a bit more of expertise is equipping two heavy weapons like a Karasawa and a Grenade launcher and time your shooting as to get it in a dead angle, fire a shot with your right arm weapon to bait it and then confirm a hit with your main weapon, as long as you can time it right it's a good strategy but it does require some skill.
If nothing works you just gottagit gud.
>>14737628
Best AC is always the one you make.
What are your preferred builds, /m/?
Light missilespam chickenhoppers? Thunky dakka defense bricks? Tonks with arms?
I always liked to take the legless thrusters and dual arm-weapons with the headless head for a floating dronish thing.

>Killing civilians you say? Yeah, whatever.
>Here's 100000 C, have fun.
>Oh, be careful with the guards though.
>>14763283
>What are your preferred builds, /m/?
Mid/lightweight cannon quads. Typically long/mid-range weapons with at least one close-range for deterrence, but pile bunkers get me rock hard and I've never armed a main AC with them, so I might with AC6 depending
>>14763283
>What are your preferred builds
Usually my AC gravitates towards having medium legs for mobility, but light everything else to scrimp on weight so that I can take heavier guns. I usually like to have a mix of decent weapons, so often machineguns and grenade luanchers if I can get away with it, micro-missiles otherwise. Generally no energy weapons because I can't be bothered managing energy drain.
The one exception to this design tendency was For Answer, where I somehow ended up maining an !overweight! heavy biped. It worked surprisingly well, because of that game's mechanics it could still get a serviceable dodge with the right boosters, and that was all I needed because I could generally obliterate my opponent before my mobility became an issue. I basically drifted over the battlefield raining down grenades, Kojima missiles, relation missiles and gatling gun fire.
>>14763283I only played FA buti really like maximum dakka SMG and shoulder machineguns combo
I just started playing For Answer on PS3 but I get huge frame drops when I fight an Arms Fort. Is there a way to fix it?

>>14756983
I could never get comfortable with using two guns in Silent line, could only do it with the control scheme introduced in nexus. Irritated the hell out of me that the left arm delay for firing was still present from nexus onward though.
